Introduction of works
Cao Pi's Dian Lun was lost, and the paper was preserved because it was selected into Zhaoming Wenxuan. Cao Pi was an important literary critic in the Han and Wei Dynasties. There are two literary works he wrote, one is Wu Zhi Shu, and the other is the famous Dian Lun Paper.
Dian Lun Wen is a very important literary theory work, which is of epoch-making significance in the history of China's literary theory criticism, because there was no well-written literary theory monograph before it. Appreciation of articles
1, which criticizes the bad habit of "scholars despise each other", points out that this is a kind of "self-contempt" and proposes to "judge yourself and others" to avoid this kind of fatigue.
2. Comment on the literary talents and shortcomings of "Today's Literati", that is, the "Seven Scholars" in Jian 'an, analyze the different writing requirements of different styles, and say that only a "generalist" can have both styles.
3. Put forward the proposition that "writing is based on qi", saying that "the turbidity of qi has a body, but it can't be caused by force" and "it can't be passed on from father to brother". The "qi" here actually refers to the temperament and personality of a writer. Cao Pi's point of view shows that he has fully realized the importance of creative individuality.
4. Discussed the social function of literature, raised it to the height of "the great cause of governing the country is an immortal event", and said that "the years of life sometimes end, and the glory ends in the body", which is not as good as the endless circulation of articles.
