First, we should correctly view the income distribution gap. On the one hand, to correctly understand the income distribution gap, we can't look at and evaluate whether the income distribution pattern is fair without the influence on production. Because of the different production factors and abilities of individuals in society, their roles and contributions are also different, and their contributions are linked to income distribution. In addition to distribution according to work, we should also encourage distribution according to production factors and distribution according to contribution under the principle of giving priority to efficiency and giving consideration to fairness. If we don't talk about contribution and only talk about average distribution, it is impossible to achieve the goal of * * * being rich and will only remain * * * poor. Today, our income gap has widened to a certain extent, which is a kind of social progress in a sense, because it takes a process for some people to get rich first and finally achieve the same prosperity. The principle of ensuring fair income should be to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities for competition. Therefore, in order to solve the problem of widening income gap in China, we should not rob the rich to help the poor, but should accelerate economic development, actively engage in "creating wealth", and at the same time give low-income people more abilities and opportunities and equal opportunities for competition.
On the other hand, we should be alert to the excessive expansion or even polarization of the income gap in the field of social distribution to avoid possible social problems. Generally speaking, there are many reasons for the widening income distribution gap in China, not all of which are the results of reasonable institutional arrangements, but also many unreasonable and illegal factors. First, there are many unfair competitions in the initial distribution process, such as the most prominent form of industry monopoly; Second, the means and functions of income distribution and redistribution are seriously inadequate, such as ineffective regulation of high income and lack of effective protection for low-income groups; Third, the problem of illegal income such as gray income, black income and corruption is outstanding, and the crackdown is far from enough; Fourth, due to the existence of regional differences, the income in the eastern region is higher than that in the western region, and the regional income gap has widened. It should be said that the income distribution gap in China is the result of the overall development and improvement of the national economy, the construction of a modern market economic system, the inevitable result of the primary stage of socialism and the result of social injustice. Generally speaking, the income distribution gap in China is a social category problem. Its essence is the relationship between workers getting rich first and getting rich later, not the result of class opposition. Economic factors, namely the level of development of productive forces, play a decisive role.
The second is to rationally adjust the income distribution gap. There are many reasons for the unreasonable income distribution. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively control the income gap between regions, industries and departments through tax and financial means, and narrow the income gap between the eastern, central and western regions.
First, deepen the reform of the income distribution system and solve the problem of initial distribution from the source; Second, adhere to the principle of giving priority to efficiency and giving consideration to fairness, and strengthen the macro-control function of the state on income distribution; Third, pay attention to the social vulnerable groups, do everything possible to expand employment and solve the poverty problem caused by unemployment; Fourth, we must severely crack down on corruption, power and money transactions and other illegal acts of seizing social wealth; Fifth, with the goal of * * * common prosperity, expand the proportion of middle-income people and raise the income level of low-income people.
In a word, the fundamental way is to rationally adjust the income distribution gap and develop the economy. The more fully the "three benefits" are embodied, the more social conditions are available to eliminate the excessive gap between the rich and the poor, and the more the functions of taxation and finance in regulating income distribution can be enhanced. We should not engage in egalitarianism, but also prevent polarization. We should not only make some people rich first, but also achieve the same prosperity in the end.
