The laboratory of Horticulture College of Jilin Agricultural University has three first-class laboratories: plant laboratory, horticulture comprehensive laboratory and garden comprehensive laboratory, among which plant laboratory is the key laboratory.

The comprehensive horticultural laboratory covers an area of 4 18 square meters, and consists of four sub-laboratories: horticultural physiology laboratory, fruit tree cultivation laboratory, vegetable cultivation laboratory and facility gardening laboratory. It mainly undertakes experimental teaching tasks such as introduction to fruit tree cultivation, various theories of fruit tree cultivation, fruit tree annual production technology, fruit tree cultivation technology, berry cultivation technology, vegetable annual production, characteristic vegetable cultivation, fruit tree annual production, horticultural plant breeding, fruit tree physiology and vegetable cultivation physiology.

The garden comprehensive laboratory covers an area of 403 square meters and has five sub-laboratories: garden drawing, garden physiology laboratory, garden plant cultivation laboratory, garden computer room and garden art room. It mainly undertakes experimental teaching tasks and other scientific research tasks such as landscape design, landscape engineering, landscape seedling technology, floral science, scenic spot planning and design, landscape computer-aided design, landscape art, landscape nursery science, lawn science, landscape tree planting technology, flower cultivation science and so on.
