Application of Single Chip Microcomputer in Intelligent Measuring Instruments Abstract Measuring instruments and meters play a very important role in scientific research and production, and they are important tools and means for scientific research and quality assurance. The development of science is often obtained due to the discovery of new observation methods. Instrumentation is a necessary tool to realize information acquisition, conversion, storage, processing and display of material activity plan, and it is also an important content of a new technological revolution.

Thermoelectric combination has become the most commonly used temperature sensor in measurement technology because of its simple structure, easy manufacture, low price, high precision and wide measurement range. At present, in a large number of heat meters, heat sensitive elements as temperature sensors have been widely used.

The multifunctional thermometer introduced in this paper is a temperature measuring system which is a combination of MCS-5 1 single chip integrated circuit system and traditional temperature detecting element-heat sensitive element. The mathematics and measuring principle of this instrument are simple, and precise measuring components and anti-interference and low-temperature precision electronic components are selected. The electromagnetic compatibility is fully considered in the system design.

This paper introduces the development of the measuring instrument, including temperature sensor, single chip microcomputer interface and its application software.
