Brief Introduction to the Author of Liu Jingyuan's Lecture Notes on Typhoid Diseases
Liu Jingyuan, professor, chief physician and researcher, was born in Fengrun District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, 1943. I graduated from Beijing College of Chinese Medicine (now Beijing University of Chinese Medicine) and stayed in school after graduation. He has taught in the teaching and research section of basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the teaching and research section of classic medical books and the teaching and research section of febrile diseases. I have been engaged in teaching, clinical and scientific research of Chinese medicine for nearly 40 years. He has taught the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine, prescription science, febrile diseases, internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine and other courses.

He used to be the chief expert of state administration of traditional chinese medicine Traditional Chinese Medicine Qualification Certification Center, and the chair professor of "Febrile Diseases", a demonstration teaching project of classic courses of traditional Chinese medicine in state administration of traditional chinese medicine. The teaching CD-ROM has been distributed at home and abroad and received wide acclaim. He is currently the director of the Center for International Exchange and Cooperation of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an expert in guiding the training plan for outstanding clinical talents of traditional Chinese medicine in state administration of traditional chinese medicine, and a consultant of China Clinician magazine.

He has been invited to give lectures in the United States, France, Czech Republic, Japan and other countries 10 with many domestic provinces and cities, and presided over the international level examination for Chinese medicine and acupuncture professionals for academic exchanges. Over the years, he has published more than 70 academic papers and 4 academic works.
