Classroom waiting time refers to the thinking time left for students after teachers ask questions. After the teacher asks a question, don't rush to let the students answer it, but leave the students with appropriate thinking time according to the nature of the question. Generally speaking, it is appropriate to wait for about 3 seconds, depending on the difficulty of the problem. Research shows that when teachers increase the waiting time from less than 1 sec to 3 to 5 seconds, many significant changes will take place in the classroom.
