Professor Wang Zhengxun has been struggling in the front line of scientific research and teaching since 1995, and his long-term teaching practice has made him form his own unique teaching characteristics. Teacher Wang thinks that scientific research and teaching complement each other. "As a university teacher, we must make achievements in scientific research." With diligent and rigorous scholarship, Mr. Wang not only achieved fruitful results in scientific research, but also attached great importance to "promoting teaching through scientific research". In addition to teaching students book knowledge, he also actively introduced cutting-edge academic achievements and his own scientific research achievements into teaching.

Rich scientific research results provide a steady stream of "living water" for Mr. Wang's classroom teaching. Full of love for students, Mr. Wang "confuses students", insists on "what students are really interested in and really need to know", and strengthens communication with students by asking questions in class and solving problems after class. The teaching content is rich and informative. In order to better reflect and express the content to be taught, Mr. Wang tries to explain thoroughly and incisively, and at the same time, he is better at using paralinguistic expressions such as tone, pause, cadence and nonverbal expressions such as gestures, expressions and actions to stimulate students' interest, attract students' attention and arouse their enthusiasm for learning. Teacher Wang emphasized that the purpose of teaching is not only to impart knowledge, but also to teach students a way of thinking, and to cultivate students' abstract thinking and innovative thinking ability in teaching. When talking about a legal phenomenon in class, Mr. Wang is not in a hurry to tell students the conclusion, but to show students' logical thinking, guide students to understand the process of drawing a conclusion, master the thinking method, and improve their ability to analyze and solve problems. "Basic knowledge is the premise of innovation". Although Mr. Wang does not advocate students' rote learning, he attaches great importance to the teaching of basic knowledge and often inspires students to think on the basis of basic knowledge. In addition, he also actively encourages students to learn undergraduate courses well, and at the same time, extensively dabble in Chinese and foreign classic works to broaden their knowledge.

Teacher Wang has edited or edited textbooks for many times, and has written many books and papers of great scientific research value. Teacher Wang has been engaged in the teaching of law clinic in our school. He guides students' learning by means of speeches and discussions, and fully mobilizes students' autonomy and creativity in learning. However, by using and commenting on the "building block game" in the criminal defense training of lawyers throughout the country, it has injected new vitality into legal education and brought great impact to the traditional teaching mode with its brand-new concept.
