First of all, the requirement of Guangzhou University's second defense is that students must make written self-evaluation and tutor evaluation after completing the first draft of the thesis before applying for the second defense. Before the second defense, students should prepare a complete paper, including abstract, text, references and so on. At the same time, prepare a defense PPT.
2. Secondly, students should submit their application for defense within the specified time, and make an appointment for the time and place of defense one week in advance. The defense time is usually on Saturday or Sunday. The second defense is divided into oral defense and written defense. The first is an oral defense. Students are required to give an oral defense of 10- 15 minutes within the specified time, answer the questions raised by the judges and show their research results.
3. After the final oral defense, students also need to submit defense reports, including defense PPT and defense records. The defense report should be submitted within one week, and the jury will comprehensively evaluate the students' oral defense and defense report, and finally determine whether the students meet the graduation requirements.
