Deng's Research Achievements in Early Summer
Dr. Deng Chuxia is mainly engaged in gene targeting and the construction of animal models of diseases, the carcinogenesis mechanism of fibroblast growth factor and its receptor (FGF/FGFR) and the study of breast cancer susceptibility gene BRCA 1, especially the study of the pathogenesis of breast cancer. 1In 1999, many papers on the mechanism of BRCA 1 gene causing breast cancer were published in Cell Molecules, Natural Genetics and Science, which aroused strong repercussions in the scientific community. In the past ten years, Dr. Deng and his colleagues have made outstanding contributions and promoted the development of related research fields. Up to now, Dr. Deng and his research team have published more than 200 papers, and a considerable number of research results have been published in world-famous magazines such as Nature, Science, Cell and sub-publications. In 2000, he won the NIH-Asia-Pacific Chinese Outstanding Achievement Award; In 2002, he won the overseas outstanding youth award of the National Natural Science Foundation; In 2005, he won the Nidk "You Make a Difference" Achievement Award; On 20 1 1, he was elected as an academician of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
