Ma Longlong is currently Party Secretary, Deputy Director, Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor of Guangzhou Institute of Energy, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Engaged in the research and development of biomass energy, thermal energy utilization and industrial energy saving for a long time. He is the vice chairman of China Biomass Energy Technology Development Center and the director of China Renewable Energy Society. He presided over and participated in the research and development of several national key projects, "863" projects and international cooperation projects during the Eighth Five-Year Plan, the Ninth Five-Year Plan and the Tenth Five-Year Plan, and published more than 70 papers and 5 monographs. He has achieved a high level of scientific research in the utilization of biomass energy. As the main person in charge, he participated in the research and development of "Biomass gasification power generation technology and its application" and "Agricultural waste gasification combustion energy utilization technology and device", and won the first prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award and the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award respectively. In 2009, he was selected as a national candidate for the "New Century Million Talents Project".
