When introducing Britain, he said that "Britain is also called Britain and Langton" and "Langton built a library and museum". When introducing the United States, there is also a narrative of "setting up planetarium and museum". The original English version of Annals of Sizhou is the Encyclopedia of World Geography written by British Murray 1836. It can be found that the English word for "Museum" is "museum".

Therefore, Lin Zexu can be regarded as the first person in China to translate and introduce western museums.
