Cultivation mode

Study takes the form of part-time job. The academic system is two and a half years, including one and a half years of course study and one year of thesis writing. The credit system is implemented in course study, and the total credits of course study are not less than 32 credits. Individual outstanding graduate students can graduate one year in advance if they complete all their study tasks. The longest time in school is not more than five years.

The thesis is jointly directed by school tutors and personnel with senior titles in industrial and mining enterprises or engineering departments, and the topic comes directly from the practical work departments in the engineering field. The paper can be in the form of a combination of engineering and technical projects, or a paper on the planning, design, development and results analysis of engineering projects. Those who have completed the training requirements in accordance with the regulations and passed the thesis defense will be awarded the postgraduate diploma of Tongji University and the master's degree certificate uniformly printed by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee after the examination and approval of Tongji University.
