What treatment method does tinea of hands and feet have?
Tinea manus is a fungal infection of the skin between the palm and fingers, which can spread to the back of the hand in severe cases. Tinea pedis mainly occurs between the soles of the feet and toes, and can extend to the instep and ankle in severe cases.

clinical picture

Acute skin lesions are papules, papules and blisters, while old skin lesions have scaly keratinization, which can be divided into blister type, immersion type and scaly keratinization type.

therapeutic method

For tinea manus and pedis without complications, it is necessary to distinguish the types and treat them correctly; For secondary infection, we must first control the infection; Allergic people should control allergic reaction first, and then treat fungal infection symptomatically.

<1> The blister type is soaked in 3% boric acid solution or 10% glacial acetic acid solution twice a day, each time 10 minute. After the blister is dried, an antifungal preparation is applied externally.

〈2〉 For erosive type, first wet compress with boric acid solution to converge, then apply foot powder or miconazole and ethidiazole powder, 1 ~ 2 times a day, and then use antifungal cream after drying.

(3) Keratinization of scales, mainly using various antifungal creams and ointments containing exfoliating agents. If the keratinization is thickened and chapped obviously, it can be sealed with 30% ~ 40% urea and keratolytic agent, and imidazole antifungal cream can be used after the keratinization is thinned. 1 ~ twice a day.

〈4〉 Patients with bacterial infection should take antibiotics orally, and the most commonly used antibiotics are cefv 6g/day, berberine solution 1∶2000 for external use, or Lei Hu, zinc oxide oil, chloramphenicol, Baiduobang, norfloxacin ointment and other antibiotic preparations after soaking in Chinese herbal medicines Portulaca oleracea, Sanguisorba officinalis and Phellodendron amurense. Use antifungal drugs after infection control.

〈5〉 Patients with eczema and allergic reaction should be treated with antiallergic therapy before primary fungal infection. It is best to use antiallergic drugs and some antifungal drugs, such as itraconazole or ketoconazole, for a week in a short time.

< 6 > Chinese medicine prescription:

Alum vinegar granules: Alum, Galla Chinensis, Kochia scoparia, Fructus Cnidii, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis each 30g, Fructus Hyacini, Fructus Zanthoxyli, Cortex Phellodendri each 25g. Grind the medicine and soak it in vinegar 1000 ml for 5 days. Soak the affected area with medicinal liquid twice a day, each time 15 ~ 30 minutes.

Huohuang Granules: Pogostemon cablin 30g, Polygonatum sibiricum 12g, melanterite 12g. Grind the medicine, soak it in 500 ml vinegar several times a day, filter out the residue after 5-7 days, and soak the affected part with liquid medicine twice a day, each time 1 hour.

Matters needing attention

(1) Pay attention to cleanliness and handle it in time to avoid infecting other places.

(2) Wear breathable shoes and socks to keep feet dry.

(3) If there is secondary infection or eczema-like degeneration, the infection or eczema-like degeneration should be controlled first, and then tinea of hands and feet should be treated.
