At the time of defense, each degree evaluation sub-committee hired three experts with senior professional and technical positions or postgraduate tutor qualifications related to the topic of the thesis to review the thesis, of which at least 1 is an expert outside the school and not in the applicant's work unit, and the review opinions must be sealed and transmitted. The defense committee consists of five experts with professional and technical positions above associate professor or postgraduate tutor qualification, and the applicant's tutor does not participate in the defense committee.
If the defense of the master's degree thesis fails, with the consent of the thesis defense Committee, the thesis can be revised within one year and an application for a new defense can be made. Re-defense requires additional paper guidance fees and defense fees as required.
