The route to the hospital by car:
1. From Beijing to Bawangfen, go to Jingtong Expressway (about 14 km), go around Beijing-Harbin Expressway on Beiguan Island (about 1 1 km), go straight from Baimiao Toll Station, turn left at the first traffic light (Yanling intersection) and take the second intersection (Xueyuan Street).
2. From a foreign school in Beijing, after entering Beijing, change to Jingtong Expressway through the Fourth Ring Road and the Fifth Ring Road, or change to Jingha Expressway through the Sixth Ring Road, and then follow the previous route.

The Institute of Disaster Prevention Technology was established in 1975, and is affiliated to Seismological Bureau of China. It is located in the national high-tech industrial development zone in the east of Yanjiao, Beijing. It is the only comprehensive general institution of higher learning in China that focuses on disaster prevention and mitigation, and has disciplines such as science, engineering, economics, management and literature. 20 1 1 was listed by the Ministry of Education as the construction unit to train master students and the second batch of "excellent engineer education and training plan" universities. Based on the industry, facing the society and focusing on the construction of disaster prevention and reduction professional groups, the College has initially formed five disciplines, namely, science, engineering, management, literature and economics, involving geophysics, instrumentation, electricity, electronic information, computer, civil engineering, surveying and mapping, geology, management science and engineering, business administration, public administration and China language and literature. It has formed a multi-disciplinary, multi-level and multi-form school-running system with full-time undergraduate education as the mainstay, and college education, adult education and industry technical training coexist.
At present, the college has two national specialty construction sites, provincial key laboratories 1, provincial disaster prevention and mitigation scientific and technological innovation and talent training highland 1, provincial key development disciplines 1, and three college-level key construction disciplines. In recent years, it has undertaken scientific research and teaching research projects at all levels, and made due contributions in the fields of urban earthquake prevention and disaster reduction planning, earthquake precursor observation data processing, urban earthquake damage prediction, emergency science popularization, Wenchuan earthquake, Yushu earthquake and other major earthquake disasters in China. College students have achieved good results in national subject competitions for many times and won the first prize of "20 10 National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students".

Therefore, the college is known as the "Whampoa Military Academy of Earthquake System".
The college has two campuses, north and south, covering an area of more than 600 mu, with a building area of10.6 million square meters. There are 63 laboratories and 76 off-campus practice bases, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment reaches more than 50 million yuan. Among them, the experimental equipment for earthquake monitoring and prediction is at the leading level in domestic universities, and a number of experimental projects with earthquake prevention and disaster reduction characteristics can be set up. At the same time, the College is a node unit of China Digital Earthquake Observation Network, which can enjoy detailed earthquake monitoring data in real time. The college has more than 880,000 books, electronic literature database 17 kinds, modern library 13 square meters, standardized sports ground of 30,000 square meters, new gymnasium, swimming pool and student canteen 13 square meters, and the experimental building of 20,000 square meters will be completed soon. The campus network, which has been transformed and upgraded many times, is convenient and fast, which makes the teaching, scientific research, management and service of the college move forward to a higher level of scientificity, informationization, efficiency and greening.
The college has continuously strengthened the introduction and training of talents. There are more than 300 full-time teachers, including nearly 100 professors and associate professors, and more than 200 full-time teachers with a master's degree or above. It has first-class experts and scholars in some disciplines of disaster prevention and mitigation in China. In recent years, the mode of cooperation between universities and Taiwan Province has been deepened. The College is co-established with the Institute of Seismological Bureau of China and the National Seismological Station, which has achieved complementary advantages and shared resources. Five academicians of Seismological System were hired as consultants, 17 researchers and professors as visiting professors, and Yuan Yifan, chief expert of Sichuan Wenchuan earthquake disaster loss assessment, and more than 0 experts and professors were introduced to teach in the college.
Based on the cause of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, the college adheres to the position of teaching center, and on the basis of continuously strengthening management and improving the quality of education and teaching, promotes teaching through scientific research, strives for development through service, and continuously improves the level of scientific research and social services. University teachers have undertaken a large number of high-level projects, including national natural science foundation, national industry projects and national science and technology support plans. There are more than 200 scientific research projects at all levels, which have won many provincial and ministerial awards. More than a thousand papers have been published, including nearly 500 core journals, and more than 20 papers have been included in SCI and EI. Journal of Institute of Disaster Prevention and Technology is listed as the core periodical of science and technology in China. In the 5. 12 Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan, appointed by the Seismological Bureau of China and the Ministry of Education, the college sent four groups of personnel to carry out on-site rescue, scientific investigation, disaster loss assessment and investigation on the damage of primary and secondary schools, and successfully completed the task. The college also undertakes social services such as Xichang earthquake prevention and disaster reduction planning project.
