Who was the first person to put forward the theory of "third-party payment"
Let me answer: In 2003, the second issue of Postal Finance published an article about postal financial institutions participating in the business process design of e-commerce transaction fund settlement, signed by Yu Jian of Sichuan Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau. Aiming at the bottleneck problem that restricted the development of e-commerce transactions at that time, the author put forward the idea of cooperating with postal financial institutions to provide third-party payment guarantee for both parties to the transaction, and carried out business process design and SWOT strategic analysis.

It should be noted that: (1) This is actually the author's graduation thesis in EMBA class of School of Management, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2003. The manuscript of the paper is kept in jameswindfast@yahoo.com.cn, Yahoo's free mailbox. Because Yahoo was acquired by Ali, the mailbox has been unable to be used normally. (2) Postal Finance magazine is a professional quarterly magazine sponsored by Shanghai Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau entrusted by the former State Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau. In 2007, after the National Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau was transformed into China Postal Savings Bank, the journal was closed at the end of 2007. (3) In the second issue of Modern Post in 2004, there was also a paper published by Yu Jian of Sichuan Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau, which also discussed the third-party payment of e-commerce.

Don't ask me why I know so much, because I am the author himself.
