This major trains senior professionals with basic theories and knowledge of management, resource science and environmental science, basic skills of surveying and mapping, urban and rural planning and design, environmental monitoring and management, geographic information system and remote sensing technology, and engaged in resource development and utilization, urban and rural planning and management, scientific research and teaching. The academic system lasts for four years and the bachelor of science degree is awarded.

Main courses: surveying, cartography, physical geography, economic geography, land planning, urban planning principles, urban and rural planning and design, ecological environment planning, regional analysis and planning, geographic information system, environmental monitoring and evaluation, introduction to resources and environment, environmental management and planning, management principles, etc.

After graduation, I can engage in urban and rural planning and design, resource development and utilization, ecological environmental protection, environmental monitoring, land planning and design in scientific research institutions, universities, governments, planning, land, environmental protection and urban construction departments and related fields.
