Fully understand and implement the teaching concept of the new round of curriculum reform, strive to create a strong English learning atmosphere in the whole school, and strive to improve the quality of English teaching in our school.

Organize teachers to study the new English curriculum standards for senior high schools in depth, and carefully study the curriculum reform plan for deepening senior high schools in Zhejiang Province. Guided by the overall goal of the new English curriculum standard for senior high schools and based on the Guiding Opinions on English Teaching in Senior High Schools in Zhejiang Province, this paper deeply studies the writing intention of the new textbook, fully excavates and utilizes its teaching concept and teaching connotation, continues to explore the teaching mode of the experimental textbook for the new English curriculum standard, and pays attention to the new situation and new problems in the implementation of the new English curriculum.
2. Further promote the reform of English classroom teaching, and strive to guide English classroom teaching with the teaching concept of the new curriculum. This semester, we will continue to focus on the core of "effective English classroom teaching and school-based research" and focus on solving difficult problems in English teaching, and continue to explore effective teaching models and effective classroom teaching methods suitable for the actual English teaching in senior high schools in our school. Senior one should make a good connection between junior high school and senior high school and develop elective courses; Senior two should grasp the review orientation of the exam; Senior three advocates "effective review", pays attention to writing guidance and college entrance examination proposition research, and promotes "text interpretation" throughout the school.
3. Implement the teaching routine, strengthen the study of teachers' own professional knowledge, and improve all aspects of literacy. 2. Carry out biweekly teaching and research group activities and weekly lesson preparation group activities. Do activities every week, attend classes every week, and study every week. Discuss the unit teaching plan, review plan, unit weight, difficulty, specific operation in class, etc. Summarize the stage teaching, exchange experience, adjust the teaching progress and plan in time, and exchange teaching experience.
4. Carry out targeted open class activities. This semester's open class focuses on text interpretation and advocates heterogeneous classes. In order to ensure the quality of the course, we should prepare lessons collectively before the open class, and young teachers should ask teachers with deep financial resources for guidance. On the premise of not affecting normal teaching, all teachers in the group should participate in open class activities. Every teacher should have at least one multimedia-assisted open class every semester. Teachers in this group are encouraged to listen to each other in class, and new teachers should attend classes first and then.
5. Homework layout should be targeted, reflecting hierarchical teaching. A unit, an exam, and different levels of classes should use papers with different difficulties. In order to cooperate with all kinds of competitions at the county level, our group will carry out a series of competitions this semester, such as listening competition, calligraphy competition and vocabulary competition for senior one students, reading competition for senior two students, and on-site writing competition for paragraphs (parts).
Our senior high school English teaching and research group has 14 English teachers. Over the years, we have always adhered to teaching as the center and strengthened management. Further standardize teaching behavior, strive for the organic combination of routine and innovation, and promote the formation of a good teaching style of teachers that is rigorous, solid, efficient and scientific, and a good study style of students that is earnest, diligent, realistic and knowledgeable. All teachers are loyal to their duties, love their students and have a good education. They won the recognition and respect of students with their noble professional ethics and rigorous academic attitude, thus improving students' interest in learning English. Over the years, the results of college entrance examination have been in the forefront of similar schools in Xishan City, and have been praised by teaching and research staff many times. Summarizing the work in these years, our group has the following characteristics:

Although there are many female teachers in our group, the spirit of unity and cooperation is gratifying. Counseling is the characteristic of our group. In teaching, teachers and apprentices often listen to each other. Old teachers teach new teachers how to give good lessons, how to prepare review handouts, how to correct test papers and how to organize classroom teaching. Under the careful guidance of the teacher, they made rapid progress. Teacher Liu Zhixing just finished teaching Grade Three this year. With the help of Mr. Wu Honglian and Mr. Liu, and his modesty and hard work in teaching, his class has achieved good results in previous exams. The observation class of senior three has been well received by teachers in other schools. Teachers Wu Lingdi and Zhao Wei have been working for the second year, and they are qualified for the teaching of this grade. In order to improve their own quality, the teachers in our group have carefully studied the theoretical articles of quality education and the teaching direction of English education, carefully studied newspapers and periodicals such as Foreign Language Teaching and Research in Primary and Secondary Schools and Foreign Language Learning in Primary and Secondary Schools, and subscribed to them themselves. Through learning, they have enriched teachers' English knowledge, deepened their understanding of new educational and teaching concepts, improved their professional theoretical knowledge, and thus changed their educational concepts. The whole group of teachers often study and study English syllabus and new curriculum standards together, make clear the changes between the new curriculum standards and the original syllabus, the English teaching objectives, tasks and requirements of each grade, and grasp the knowledge context of each grade from a macro perspective. Senior one pays attention to the cultivation of study habits and strengthens the guidance of learning methods. Third, strengthen the construction of lesson preparation group and create the characteristics of lesson preparation group
Each preparation group can complete the task assigned by the teaching and research group to the letter and create its own characteristics at the same time. Senior one is a new textbook this year. The vocabulary is greatly expanded and the requirements for teachers are greatly improved. Under the leadership of Mr. Wang Yuqin and Mr. Wei Juandi, the preparation group of Grade One in Senior High School has studied the teaching materials carefully without fear of difficulties, and gradually formed the characteristics of this group-fast classroom pace, good listening habits and high efficiency. The preparation group of senior two takes stimulating students' interest in learning and mobilizing their initiative as the starting point. Make full use of network resources, and basically adopt multimedia teaching in each reading class. Now the teachers in the group basically make their own multimedia courseware. The preparation group of senior three focuses on the cultivation of reading skills and the training of problem-solving thinking.

Classroom teaching is the top priority of all schools, and its quality directly determines the reputation of education and teaching in this discipline and even the success or failure of school work. The most basic thing to improve the quality of classroom teaching is to attach importance to conventional teaching. The same grade requires unified teaching progress, unified content, unified content, unified key and difficult points, and unified homework exercises; In the process of classroom teaching, we insist on carefully preparing lessons, attending classes, correcting homework, tutoring after class, evaluating grades and summing up plans. Each teacher's classroom teaching methods and teaching art have their own characteristics, and insisting on attending classes and evaluating classes can learn from each other. Therefore, we often practice the way that old teachers take demonstration classes and new teachers take observation classes. Teachers listen to each other, and the number of classes for new teachers reaches 60 or 70, and that for old teachers reaches 30 or 40. Listening to lectures and evaluating classes has become a regular teaching and research activity of English group.
Sixth, do a good job in teaching research and improve the professional level of the whole group of teachers.
While doing a good job in the research of teaching materials and methods, the teachers in our group also pay attention to optimizing the classroom structure, cognitive structure and training structure of their own classroom teaching with advanced teaching ideas and concepts, effective teaching methods and modern teaching means. At the same time, teachers actively wrote papers, and many papers written by Wu Honglian and Liu were published in provincial journals. The instructional design written by teacher Liu Zhixing won the first prize twice, the design of teacher zhaowei won the third prize, and the video lesson of teacher Wu Honglian won the first prize of "China Ceramic Society". In addition, in the national English competition for middle school students held every year, every senior two student can win the second prize and the third prize.
We are also deeply aware that these achievements have been achieved with the concern of leaders at all levels, with the strong support and cooperation of foreign language teachers in the teaching and research center and teachers from other disciplines in the school.
