The Qiu Chengtong Science Award for Middle School Students is a competition for middle school students all over the world initiated by China mathematician Qiu Chengtong.

Qiu Chengtong's science prizes include many competitions, such as mathematics, physical chemistry and biology, computer and finance. Shi Mulang, a student of Hangzhou No.9 Middle School, won the computer science prize for the autumn lecture with his self-invented driverless bicycle. The bicycle created by Shi Mulang is pure white and its body is very smooth. From the appearance, it is not much different from ordinary bicycles, but his bicycle can transmit real-time traffic data to the data center in the direction of handlebar and radar, and at the same time, it can make the bicycle run on the best route.

In fact, Shi Mulang has been paying attention to this project for a long time, because he found it interesting when he saw it in Tsinghua University, so he also wanted to build a balanced assisted driving system. Although the idea is good, but in the process of practice, but also encountered many difficulties, in fact, the most difficult thing is that the bike can not keep balance. So it took him nearly a year to create this car, during which he had to study the code, constantly experiment and debug the system.

Shi Mulang showed unusual talent when he was young. He was able to install his own computer when he was in the fourth grade. Moreover, this computer system is written by himself, and it also allows this computer to convert between systems. But when he was in the fifth grade, he assembled a desktop computer into a tablet computer and made the mainframe into a robot. Moreover, he often reads some academic papers and is very curious about some new things, which also lays a solid foundation for his creative path.
