Research methods: observation, questionnaire survey and online inquiry.
Research process and results: After choosing the topic of this article in August 2004, I began to track and track stray cats and record my observations on them. From August to September, 2005, the observation experiment of stray cats was designed, and the observation record table of stray cats was formed. At the same time, a questionnaire about stray cats was designed to investigate people's attitudes towards stray cats. Learn more about stray cats through online inquiry.
The results show that the limited survival of stray cats will not cause harm to urban communities. On the contrary, there are basically no mice in the community with stray cats.
The report suggests that laws and regulations prohibiting the abandonment of small animals should be formulated and vigorously publicized to form a shameful public opinion environment for abandoning small animals; Establish adoption homes and centers for abandoned animals; Set up a feeding point for stray cats in the community.
Gains and experiences: First, I learned the basic procedures of scientific research, mastered the design and implementation methods of observation experiments, learned the design and statistics of questionnaires, exercised my ability of independent thinking, independent observation of problems and hands-on, and improved my courage to communicate with people; Secondly, through research, I realize that scientific research not only needs rich knowledge, rigorous style and thoughtful mind, but also needs healthy body and the spirit of not being afraid of hardship.
