Now he is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Humanities, Zhejiang Normal University. Main research interests: literature in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, ancient novels and traditional culture. In recent years, he has published more than 40 papers in Nankai Journal (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition), Fudan Journal (Social Sciences Edition), Guangming Daily, Opera Art, Novel Research in Ming and Qing Dynasties, Dream of Red Mansions and Qilu Journal. Some papers were reprinted by China Social Science Abstracts and the full text by NPC Copying Materials. He has published monographs such as Collection of Calligraphy Novels in Ming Dynasty, Commercial Publishing and Cultural Communication in Jiangnan Cities in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and Research on Popular Books in Ming Dynasty.
