Structural calculation of manual hanging basket
The structural design of hanging basket scaffolding is based on the probabilistic limit state design method of Unified Standard for Design of Building Structures, and the calculation is based on Load Code for Building Structures, Design Code for Steel Structures, Safety Rules for Hanging Baskets Working at Height, Technical Manual for Building Construction Safety and Practical Manual for Building Construction Scaffolding.

The overall dimension of the hanging basket is 3.0×0.9× 1.5m, and the construction is divided into two stages, the first stage 17 to 6 floors is 33m high, and the second stage/6 to 1 floors is 24m high.

5. Key points of safe use of hanging basket scaffold

(1) The operating requirements for the fabrication, installation, use and construction of hanging basket scaffolding shall comply with the Safety Regulations for Hanging Baskets Working at Heights (JG5027-92).

(2) After the assembly is completed, carry out no-load test run, 1.25 times construction load test, safety rope and safety lock impact test, which can be put into use only after being signed by the technical, quality and safety departments of the enterprise and the supervisor.

(3) When using, there must be two wire ropes with a diameter of 12.5mm as safety ropes, and they are equipped with qualified safety locks. When safety locks don't work, it is forbidden to use them.

(4) Each construction worker must be equipped with a safety rope, and the construction worker must use the safety rope and safety belt correctly when going up and down the hanging basket.

(5) When the hanging basket is working, the release handle on the manual hoist must be removed to prevent accidents caused by misoperation.

(1) The hanging basket installer must be in good health, free from diseases such as hypertension, and only those who have passed the training and internship and obtained the operation certificate can take up the post for operation. When it is necessary to move, release the safety lock and untie the traction rope. The safety lock has been used for 1000 hours, so it must be checked and calibrated regularly to ensure its safe operation.

(7) When multiple groups of hanging baskets are used at the same time, the gap between hanging baskets shall not be greater than 200mm, and the distance from the wall shall not be greater than 100mm.

(8) In case of rain, snow or strong wind above level 4, the construction operation shall be stopped.

(9) If the hanging basket must be used for welding operation, the wire rope of the hanging basket should be fully protected to avoid damaging the wire rope, and the wire rope should not be used as a conductor.

(10) Pay attention to check and do the following finishing work after homework every day:

(1) Clean up the sundries in the hanging basket, fix the hanging basket on the structure or lift it 3m off the ground, and put away the handle.

(2) Store the excess wire rope in the hanging basket.
