Sow a habit and reap a character.
Yesterday afternoon, the school organized a meeting between our first-grade Chinese teacher and math teacher. At this meeting, President Liu and President Zhang talked most about the cultivation education of freshmen. This meeting, like a timely rain, moistened my dry heart, opened many confused doors for me, and let me know the shortcomings of my work and the direction of my future work. In particular, I realized the importance of cultivating education for freshmen.
William james, a world-famous psychologist, famously said: Sow an action and reap a habit; Sow a habit and reap a character; Sow a character and reap a destiny. It can be seen how much influence habits have on people's lives. Both theory and practice have proved that primary school is a critical period for the formation of good behavior habits, and good habits will benefit students for life, and students' cultivation education is related to their future development. The education of behavior habit formation in the first grade of primary school is the foundation of the critical period. I'm going to start from these aspects:
1, standardize your own language, writing, manners, clothing, etc. Set an example for students.
Freshmen worship teachers and like to imitate their words and deeds. Teachers must set an example. Writing on the blackboard and correcting students' homework must be done in a stroke, and the handwriting should be standardized, neat and beautiful. For example, to teach pinyin on the blackboard, you must draw four lines and three squares of pinyin, which must be standardized and beautiful. Pinyin, format and writing methods should also be correct and beautiful. Remember to draw squares and write at will, so as to hurry up. Another example: I stressed that children are not allowed to bring snacks into the classroom, and I took the lead in not eating breakfast and snacks in the classroom. When there is paper on the floor, I always pick it up quickly. Sometimes when I see one or two pieces of waste paper in the classroom corridor, I will bend down to pick it up and deliberately say in front of the whole class, "I made another curved angel." Then throw the waste paper into the trash can. The desks and chairs in the classroom are crooked, and I always clean them up. The lecture table is untidy, and I always clean them up ... These things will be noticed by students, remember, students will follow my example gradually. When the sanitary tools in the classroom are not arranged neatly, there are always classmates to put them away. When there is paper on the classroom floor, students will pick it up immediately. Students will take the initiative to dump the garbage in the trash can, and they will learn to open the window gently. Know how to do it without disturbing others. Confucius said, "If you don't obey the rules, you won't obey them." Demonstration, the class teacher must first abide by it.
2. Pre-school work.
Children have just entered primary school from kindergarten, and many habits of life and study are still carried out in the way of kindergarten. It takes a process to form certain behavior habits and even develop behavior norms. Every process should be teacher-led, student-centered, give full play to the leading role of teachers, mobilize students' subjective factors, guide them carefully, and make students adapt to the new environment and learn independently. On September 1 day, our school arranged for students to learn "I will learn it in one day", which is the best opportunity to help students develop behavior norms and lay a good foundation for children to adapt to primary school as soon as possible. As a first-year class teacher, you should use this time to guide and educate your children. For example: classroom routine, recess routine, access routine, group activity specification, greeting teachers, etc. Every educational content should be carefully designed to achieve the best effect. For children who have just left kindergarten, you just preach to them and tell them some big truths, which has little effect. For each routine, in addition to clear requirements, teachers can also create situations for children to practice, so that children can better remember after entering the role. The guidance at this stage requires the class teacher's careful guidance and demonstration, so that children can develop in constant practice.
3. A day's work.
After September 2, we still need to continue to educate our children in this area, and the education of behavior habits runs through the children's one-day school study. In the first month of school, we still have to remind the children deliberately, but this time is natural.
In the morning, I usually arrive at school 10-20 minutes earlier than the time stipulated by the school. I came to the class to open the window, check the hygiene, urge the team leader to check the homework, organize morning reading and prepare for morning exercises. I asked the children to hang up their lunch boxes, then put away their schoolbags, then take out their homework and give it to the group leader, and then take out their own books for early reading. They should read aloud in the morning, sit up straight, keep their eyes fixed on the book and be aware of their eyes, mouth and heart. )
Chinese food management. Ask for silence, whether it is queuing for food or eating, ask the children to be quiet and orderly. Under normal circumstances, I always line up in groups to cook and serve. If the discipline is not good, I will ask the best children to sit upright, and the children who obey the discipline will line up for dinner first. In addition, what I emphasize most is not to waste food. My password is: eat as much as you want. I have always stressed that I am not picky about food. My password is: I will eat anything! I asked the children to finish their meal before the school staff collected the tableware. For many children, it is a good habit to concentrate on eating and get rid of the bad habit of letting parents feed at home or not eating or playing in their mouths. I ask children who have eaten well to sit in their seats and drink milk or have a rest, but only if each student is responsible for the hygiene around his seat, and there is no grain of rice, a drop of vegetable juice or any sundries on the desktop, drawer or floor. And I have arranged six posts, and six students are responsible for health inspection and supervision. The specific arrangement is that one student in each of groups 1-3, 4-7 is responsible for checking the desktop hygiene, one student is responsible for checking the desk drawer hygiene, and one student is responsible for checking the floor hygiene. Hygiene is done, please ask the whole class to practice writing in the classroom, and then prepare for lunch break. This can not only cultivate students' good habit of writing carefully, but also avoid strenuous exercise after meals.
For first-grade children, teachers must give guidance at the beginning of hygiene. For example, how to hold a broom, how to wipe the table with a rag and so on. In the first week, the teacher took the children to clean, and in the second week, the teacher watched and gave timely guidance. Arrange the duty table, each student has a clear division of labor, and the responsibility lies with others. However, the division of labor is not divided. Those who do well first should help those who haven't, and the students on duty will go home together at last.
Organization of after-school queues. Arrange a one-minute safety education before queuing after school, emphasizing the discipline after school. In other words, students are required to wait for their parents at the pick-up point of class 104. If the parents don't pick it up in time, please go back to the campus with the teacher and sit on the steps of the school and wait for the parents to pick it up. I also arranged a minute's tidying time, that is, tidying up the schoolbag, cleaning up the garbage around the seat, tidying up the table and bench, and then gently leaving the seat to queue up in the corridor outside the classroom, which is faster than Qi Jing. To this end, I also set up several uncivilized situations to let students experience the harm and know the correct way.
The first month is a critical period of behavior development. I believe that after my first month's step-by-step guidance and down-to-earth practice, the behavior habits of students in 104 class can be basically stabilized, and then I can let go of management.
