Professor Huang Henian completed the collection of the world's first innovative throat reconstruction. Fudan University Medical Library was founded on 1927, formerly known as the National Library of Shanghai Medical College. 1959 was renamed as the Library of Shanghai First Medical College, and in May 1985 it was renamed as the Library of Shanghai Medical University. On April 27th, 2000, Shanghai Medical University merged with Fudan University and was renamed as Fudan University Medical Library.
