Brief Introduction of Theory and Application of Wireless Sensor Network
The author compiled this book carefully on the basis of his own research work, so that readers can share their experiences and achievements in study and research. The book is divided into five chapters and 22 sections, covering the concept of wireless sensor network, networking communication technology, core support technology, self-organization management technology and development and application examples. On the basis of systematically expounding the latest theoretical achievements of wireless sensor networks and combining the author's long-term research work in this field, this paper discusses and summarizes the development, application and many technical challenges of wireless sensor networks. The book is clear in structure, rich in content and concise in description, which fully reflects the latest research progress and achievements in the field of wireless sensor networks. Not only can interested beginners get started quickly, but also can provide more systematic related technologies or schemes for peers with certain research foundation, making up for the relative lack of systematic research materials in this field in China; Help readers to deepen their understanding of wireless sensor network technology, lay a necessary foundation for further study and research in this field, shorten the gap between domestic scholars and international first-class research level in this field, and thus contribute more research results with independent intellectual property rights in China.

This paper comprehensively discusses the theory and application of wireless sensor networks. On the basis of systematically expounding the latest theoretical achievements of wireless sensor networks, combined with the author's long-term research work in this field, the development, application and many technical challenges of wireless sensor networks are discussed and summarized. The book is divided into five chapters, a total of 22 chapters. The content involves the concept and characteristics of wireless sensor networks; Communication protocols of physical layer, data link layer, network layer and transport layer of wireless sensor network; Core supporting technologies such as topology control, node positioning, time synchronization, network information processing and network security; Self-organizing management technologies such as sensor nodes, resources, tasks, data, network deployment, initialization and maintenance of wireless sensor networks; Wireless sensor network simulation, hardware development, operating system, software development, ZigBee system development and application examples.

This book can be used not only as a reference book for researchers in the field of wireless sensor networks and engineers and technicians interested in wireless sensor networks, but also as a learning material for senior undergraduates and graduate students majoring in network, communication, computer, electronics and automation in colleges and universities.

About the author:

Wang Shu, born in 1956, doctor of engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is currently the director of the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the executive director of Hubei Key Laboratory of Intelligent Internet Technology, and a member of the Teaching Guidance Subcommittee of the Basic Course of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of the Ministry of Education. He went to Germany for cooperative research many times, and in 2002, the research group of wireless sensor network was established by Hubei Key Laboratory of Intelligent Internet Technology, and the experimental platform of wireless sensor network was built. In recent years, together with the members of the research group, we have made progress in the research of sensors, wireless sensor networks and signal detection and processing, published nearly 100 papers in domestic and foreign journals and academic conferences, and obtained and applied for more than one patent 10.
