Tao Yuanming's theory of returning home
Tao Yuanming's poems are good at five-character poems, which can be roughly divided into two categories: one is the poetry that inherits and develops the lyric tradition since the Han and Wei Dynasties, and the other is the rare pastoral poetry. Tao Yuanming, who resigned from his post and returned home, sincerely expressed his feelings in a simple way. Pastoral is a short and pithy work, from which we can still get a glimpse of Tao Yuanming's feelings.

Tao Yuanming's real optimism. The first part is "Nanshan plants beans, and the grass is full of bean seedlings." Planting beans in the morning is natural and cordial, revealing the leisurely style, which can intuitively feel the simplicity and truth of the poet and the heartfelt happiness after work. Different "Hui Xi words" are also welcomed by servants. As a scholar-bureaucrat, Tao Yuanming shouldered the hoe this time, which is more natural and more real than Ji Kang's While the Iron is Striked, Till Tillage. In order not to make the land barren, the poet removed weeds early in the morning, looked at Nanshan leisurely in the quiet rural area, and went home at night when Dai Yue was wearing a star in Dai Yue. But despite this, the harvest is still not good. Tao Yuanming, who has a natural personality, can't help laughing at himself. It seems that many things are bothering him, whether he chooses to be a farmer or an official in North Korea, but Tao Yuanming enjoys it instead of complaining. The beautiful truth in rural life reflects the filth and falsehood of officialdom. Although the countryside is barren, it is the purest place in Tao Yuanming's heart. He didn't want to be an official against his original intention, but chose pastoral poetry life, and he also felt that the poet had returned to the true nature. The most desirable thing in the world is to be loyal to one's freedom, and this pastoral area is the most real place that Tao Yuanming yearns for. Even if the living conditions are not good, it is the peach garden in his heart.

? Tao Yuanming's indifference and integrity. The second part is "the road is narrow and the grass is long, and the evening dew is stained with clothes." I'm naked, but I don't want to. "Like the beginning, PiaoSuru blurted out, and the line drawing technique was not modified. Tao Yuanming doesn't care about external conditions, but about not going against his inner "will". On the one hand, I wish to keep myself indifferent and carefree in the countryside, on the other hand, I don't want to bow to the nobility of rural children and the integrity of living a clean life in rural areas with narrow roads and long grass. When I was a teenager, I longed to escape from everything in the world, but the chaotic world was full of grass and sparse seedlings. Over time, facing the dark and dirty reality, I just want to "make a wish". I no longer pursue my own ambition, but only seek inner indifference and tranquility, and gradually become a "Buddha". Appreciating the countryside and landscapes is more in line with the poet's own nature. Mencius said, "Richness and wealth cannot be lewd, power cannot be bent, and poverty cannot be moved. "Many people embark on their careers because they are afraid of the hardships of labor and the desire for power, but Tao Yuanming sticks to his moral bottom line, which can better reflect his noble character and keep his true heart. He is a magnanimous gentleman.

? From Chinese textbooks, I am familiar with "returning to the garden", which shows Tao Yuanming's true optimism and indifferent feelings of integrity. In an era of attaching importance to rhetoric and beauty, Tao Yuanming's poems can be so simple and natural, poetic and not very decorative. It is precisely because Tao Yuanming's own feelings are detached and refined, his mood is peaceful, and he pursues a leisurely life, so his pastoral poems are both true and natural.
