How to read, summarize and sort out academic literature
If learning is an extension of school education similar to growing up, then literature is our textbook, reading notes are classroom notes, and writing academic papers by yourself is an exam. How to choose your own academic textbooks, how to read and arrange your own class notes will largely determine your success or failure in this academic examination. It can be said that reading academic papers efficiently is one of the most basic and important abilities of researchers.

Combined with my own experience, I talk about how to summarize and sort out academic literature.

Summary is a process of digestion and absorption, and the essence of collation is to classify these digested and absorbed knowledge in order to be awakened in the most efficient way.

-Not every document needs to be summarized. Pre-screen the documents that need to be summarized in advance, and pre-screen the documents by browsing the abstract, keywords, conclusions and other parts quickly. * * The core criterion of screening is the degree of conformity with one's own research direction.

-Be sure to think: Why do you want to summarize this article and write it down to remind yourself at any time.

(2)** Reading: * *

* First reading: simply read the titles of each chapter, determine the research issues and significance of the article, and grasp the overall context;

* Deep reading: in interactive reading, mark key points, organize the context of the article, draw details and write notes; ?

* absorption: explain the overall context and key knowledge points of this article in your own words (to avoid plagiarism) in combination with the previous comments. If you can't explain it in your own words, you may not fully understand this paper.

(3)** After reading: * *

-Summarize the latest academic progress in the form of Minireview. Every article is a little review. 10-20 articles can be organized into mini reviews, and you can write one or two review articles every week.

(1) Thought: light sorting, heavy search-recommended tool use (Mendeley);

(2) similar files should be placed in a folder, and the division should not be too fine;

(3) Put the sorted Minireview under the folder;
