China culture has a long history and is profound. Ancient poetry is the treasure of China culture and occupies an extremely important position in the history of China literature development. The ancient poetry selected into the primary school Chinese textbooks is a wonderful work among the splendid cultural treasures of the Chinese nation, which is refreshing to read, opens the mind, has a long aftertaste and gives people a beautiful edification.
The image in ancient poetry is the unity of emotion and scenery, and it is the carrier of the poet's emotion. When learning and appreciating ancient poetry, only in the process of understanding the meaning of images can we grasp the content of poetry, perceive the poet's emotions, enter the artistic conception of poetry and understand the theme of poetry. And some images contain established aesthetic habits. How to grasp the correct meaning of images in poetry, I have summed up some experiences in my teaching practice for more than 20 years.

Ancient poetry teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching, and it is also an important content for students to learn traditional culture. China has a civilization history of 5,000 years. In the long history of 5,000 years, our ancestors created a large number of poems, which can be said that China is a kingdom of poetry. Only when teachers teach ancient poems can students grasp the images and feel the artistic beauty of ancient poems; Paying attention to reading the images in ancient poetry is the most basic requirement for learning ancient poetry well.
