Copyright belongs to the author himself, so if the tutor and the school are not involved in the creation, they will not enjoy copyright. The instructor is the thesis instructor, and the school is the student's manager. They have no right to the students' personal works.

Article 16 of the Copyright Law of People's Republic of China (PRC): Works created by citizens to complete the tasks of legal persons or entities without legal personality belong to job works. Including two cases: (1) engineering design, product design drawings and their descriptions, computer software, maps and other job works. , mainly created by using the material and technical conditions of the legal person or entity without legal personality, and undertaken by the legal person or entity without legal personality; (2) Work in the post where the legal person or entity without legal personality enjoys copyright as stipulated by laws, administrative regulations or agreed in the contract.

Therefore, student papers do not belong to job works.

Article 22 Under any of the following circumstances, a work may be used without permission and without payment to the copyright owner, provided that the name of the author and the title of the work shall be clearly stated, and other rights enjoyed by the copyright owner in accordance with this Law shall not be infringed:

(a) for personal study, research or appreciation of the use of other people's published works;

(6) Translating or reproducing a few published works for classroom teaching or scientific research in schools for use by teaching or scientific researchers, but not publishing them;

(eleven) China citizens, legal persons or other organizations written in Chinese and published in China;

Therefore, whether the school has the right to publish depends on its specific situation.
