Southwest Chuzhou 2, Chunshuiya 3, Ouyang Gong 4 served as the state for 5 years, and built 6 pavilions, called "Fengle", which he recorded himself to see its name. East of Fengle is also a few hundred steps, and eight mountains are high. This pavilion was called "Awakening the Mind", which made Gong Ji remember it.

Where the public and state guests travel, Pierer drinks. When I am drunk and tired, I wake up and look at the mountain, the clouds, the smoke, the endless wilderness, the grass and trees, the spring and the stone. When I see something new and listen to something new, my heart wakes up with 12, which I can't forget for a long time. Therefore, 13 was named after 14, and it was taken from Zi Han's poem "North Lake" 15. Hey! It can be said that it is fun between mountain springs, but it is actually 17, which is not bad.

Although, the joy of the public, I can say it. My king 18 Travel 19 didn't do anything on it, and my people gave it to 2 1 without any regrets. All scholars in the world are talented and good. Birds, animals and plants have all got their proper places and enjoyed the public happiness. A corner of a mountain, next to a spring, is it fun? This is a gift from CCBA.

If you are a wise man, Zi Han died 26 years ago and started 27 years ago. Guests traveling together today don't know the difficulties of the public. Recently 1000 years, there are people who admire the public and look at their traces. They want to see it, but they can't reach it, so they know the difficulties of the public. Then the people who come here with you will not like it and will be happy! Gong Ye, however, was given the title of 28 in the official document, but he didn't like it and was happy!

Vernacular translation

In the southwest of Chuzhou, next to a spring, in the second year of his tenure as magistrate, Ouyang Gong built a pavilion called "Fengle" and made notes in person to show the origin of this name. Soon after, I found a place with a high mountain a few hundred steps east of Fengle Pavilion and built a pavilion called "Awakening the Heart" for me to take notes.

Whenever Ouyang Gong and the ambassador visit here, they will drink at Fengle Pavilion. Sometimes when you are drunk, you have to get on the sober booth and look out. Surrounded by mountains, clouds, endless wilderness, lush vegetation and beautiful springs, the beautiful scenery you see is dazzling, and the sound of springs you hear is refreshing. So I feel refreshed and sober, and I want to stay for a long time. So according to this truth, the pavilion was named "Xingxin Pavilion", which was taken from the poem "North Lake" written by Han Tui. Ah, this can probably be called being good at finding happiness between mountains and rivers, named after the beautiful scenery you see, which is relatively level.

Nevertheless, I can see that Ouyang Gong is really happy. Our emperor is carefree and quiet on earth; Our people are well-fed and well-fed, and there is no dissatisfaction; Scholars all over the world can become excellent materials; Ethnic minorities in all directions, as well as animals, birds, plants and other creatures, all have their own places. This is the true happiness of Ouyang Gong! A mountain corner, a clear spring, where is Ouyang guild happy? He just pinned his feelings here!

A saint like Ouyang Gong was born hundreds of years after Han Yu's death. Guests traveling with him today don't know that sages like Ouyang Gong are hard to meet. Thousands of years later, some people admire Ouyang Gong as a man and his remains, but those who want to see him will sigh because they are not contemporary with him. I just realized that it is really difficult to meet Ouyang Gong. So, can people who travel with Ouyang Gong now not feel happy and lucky? And I, Ceng Gong, can use this article as an excuse behind Ouyang Gong's article. Can I be unhappy and ungrateful?

Song Renzong Li Qing's diary on August 15th, the seventh year.

Creation background

Song Renzong Li Qing seven years (1047) on August 15th, Ceng Gong went north with his father. On his way to Beijing, Ceng Gong visited Ouyang Xiu in Chuzhou and stayed for twenty days. This story was written in Chuzhou at the request of Ouyang Xiu.

Literary appreciation

The first paragraph of the article explains the relevant background of writing Xing Xin Ting Ji and the reasons for writing Ji. Before introducing "Xingxin Pavilion", the author first introduces "Fengle Pavilion". "Southwest Chuzhou", indicating the direction; "By the Spring" is about the environment; "Ouyang Gong was appointed as a state for two years", recording the time of building the museum: concise writing. The author wrote Fengle Pavilion with Fengle Pavilion as the background. On the one hand, it leads to the location of Qingxin Pavilion, on the mountain hundreds of steps to the east. On the one hand, it explains the environment of "Awakening Pavilion". Writing "Fengle Pavilion" is the picture background to describe "Xingxin Pavilion". The author's writing twists and turns until the end of the paragraph. This will not make people feel heavy, but make the picture fuller.

The second paragraph of the article is about the victory of Xingxin Pavilion. By using the words "drink" and "hope", the author roughly distinguishes the different uses of "happiness" and "waking up": the former is used for drinking and the latter is used for sightseeing. The word "king" always leads to the description of the scenery: mountains and clouds are surrounded, the wilderness is vast, the vegetation is dense, the spring water is clear, and the rocks are beautiful. The reason why the author wrote the scenery in "Wang" is to draw out the feelings in "Wang": refreshing and refreshing, thus pointing out the reason why the pavilion was named "Xing Xin" and further pointing out the origin and allusions of the word "Xing Xin". According to Han Tui's poem "North Lake", the sentence about "awakening the soul" is: "I heard that you should stay awake when you go back to the lake, and you should come when you are drunk." This quotation also reflects the twists and turns of Ouyang Xiu, the leader of the poetry innovation movement in the Northern Song Dynasty, who highly praised Han Yu, the leader of the ancient prose movement in the Tang Dynasty. Han Yu is good at ancient prose, not as a poet, and Beihu is not a famous work of Han Yu, but Ouyang Gong is familiar with it, which shows that he attaches great importance to Han Yu's poems. The conclusion of the sentence "There is joy in the mountain spring" summarizes the intention of building the pavilion and paves the way for the following discussion, which has both the function of "integrity" and the setting of "connecting the preceding with the following".

The discussion in the third paragraph of the article focuses on the fact that the word "music" inherits the previous paragraph "taking the joy of mountain springs", which leads to "the joy of the masses, I can speak it" and always explains the connotation of Ouyang Xiu's "music" with the whole paragraph. There are two flaws in the third paragraph: First, Ceng Gong juxtaposes "plants and animals in one place". It embodies his feudal orthodox consciousness of "Han nationality" and discriminates against ethnic minorities other than Han nationality; Secondly, it is not true that Ceng Gong eulogized the rule of the Song Dynasty at that time as "My monarch is good at doing things but not doing things, and my people are satisfied without regrets". Although this was the limitation of the popularity of goods at that time, it was the defect of white jade after all. Ouyang Xiu's pleasure in mountains and rivers is not empathy in times of peace and prosperity, but broad-minded emotion when being slandered and falsely accused. Chuzhou is a small country, so it is impossible to display its ambitions, so it has to be a landscape.

The fourth paragraph of the article focuses on the word "rare", "it will take hundreds of years to be like this", and it is really rare to write about Ouyang Xiu, a sage. This point has not been understood by people now, but in a hundred years and a thousand years, people will definitely confirm this problem. The implication is that history has its own public opinion. Ouyang Xiu was banished to Chuzhou for gossiping, but he was banished and suspected of committing a crime. As the so-called "Zhou Yao is afraid of gossip day", Ceng Gong's theory of "it's hard to meet public saints" is not only a counterattack against martyrdom rumors, but also a solidarity with Ouyang Xiu. When the world can't understand Ouyang Xiu, the world has public opinion. This is a Qubi by Ceng Gong.

Means of artistic expression

(1) Entrust things to show ambition, and send affection to the scenery.

The book Xing Xin Ge expresses the Confucian concern for politics and positive life consciousness with the help of Xing Xin Ge Travel Notes. Writing about scenery and travel is not the author's real writing purpose. The author points out that Ouyang Xiu's real happiness is that "my monarch is good at doing good deeds, but not doing good deeds, and my people are satisfied with it, and all the people in the world are good, and everyone who lives in a suitable place is suitable", which is a picture of "the world is healthy and the people are happy". Ouyang Xiu was demoted to Chuzhou and still worried about the country and the people. However, when he visited Xingxin Pavilion leisurely, his heart was filled with strong political pride.

(2) Contrast and highlight key points.

Ouyang Xiu's "true joy" lies in his concern for politics and his pursuit and yearning for the rulers to "govern by doing nothing" and the people to live and work in peace and contentment. The author focuses on "Xingxinge". The beautiful scenery of "misty mountains, boundless wilderness and beautiful grass in spring" is in sharp contrast with the political "Qingming map" of "My monarch is good at doing things but not doing things, and my people are satisfied, all scholars in the world are good at learning, and animals and plants in the wilderness are suitable for all living things", which highlights Ouyang Xiu's grand political ambition.

Famous comments

Although Huang Richao (Volume 63) and Xing Xin Ge (Awakening Heart Pavilion) written by scholars in the Southern Song Dynasty were written for Ouyang Gong, they were also a warning.

Zhang Boxing, an acting scientist in Qing Dynasty, wrote Notes of Eight Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, Volume 15: Fengle Pavilion, where Ou Gong enjoys himself. In Awakening the Heart Pavilion, Zi Gu can tell the pleasure of Ou Gong. However, those people who are so-called "happy after the world" especially like each other.

He Chao, a scholar in Qing Dynasty, read The Secretary of Yimen. Volume 42: His words are neither flattering nor false, so the second half is fresh. Future generations can't draw a tiger at their own speed.
