1. Undergraduate graduation thesis should be completed independently, serious and rigorous, abide by scientific research ethics, and must not resort to deceit, copy or plagiarize others' achievements. Once found, it will be dealt with seriously.

2. During the graduation thesis, you should report the work progress to the tutor regularly and accept the guidance with an open mind. Discuss with the tutor at least once every two weeks, summarize the stage work and check the quality once a month, fill in the Guidance Record Manual for Undergraduate Thesis Tutors of China Academy of Sciences, and submit the guidance manual to the college for filing after the defense.

3. Students' graduation thesis time shall not be less than 12 weeks, and it is encouraged to start graduation thesis work in advance. Graduation thesis is not classified in principle.

4. In principle, the number of words in a graduation thesis is not less than 8,000 words, which generally includes the following parts: Chinese cover, English cover, thanks, Chinese abstract, English abstract, contents, text, references, appendices, etc.

5. The results and materials of graduation thesis should be handed over to the instructor in time for safekeeping. Students should be responsible for keeping confidential the relevant technical materials involved in the graduation thesis, and should not exchange or transfer them without permission. Encourage students to sort out their graduation thesis according to the requirements of relevant publications and formally publish it.

6, did not participate in the graduation thesis defense or defense failure, you can apply for an extension of the defense or redo the graduation thesis once (in the next academic year), and according to the relevant provisions of the school management.

Graduation thesis opening report:

Graduation thesis work mainly includes topic selection, opening report, thesis writing, duplicate checking, expert review, thesis defense and data archiving. The main task of this stage: under the guidance of the tutor, complete the topic selection of graduation thesis, write and submit the opening report.

(1) Online process of opening report: Students fill in the opening report of undergraduate thesis (design) of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Log on to the school education business management platform.

(2) Off-line process of opening report: Students print a opening report (consistent with the content provided by the system) and submit it to the tutor. After the tutor reviews and signs, it will be submitted to the college for review.
