How to Cultivate Children's Interest in Art Activities
Summary: On the cultivation of children's painting ability in painting activities.

Painting is an important part of children's artistic activities. It is an important way for children to express their feelings and an important aspect of the formation of children's healthy psychology. Its importance in the children's world is immeasurable. It is particularly important to cultivate children's painting ability, promote the improvement of children's painting level, and then promote children's all-round and healthy development.

Because the physiological mechanism of children is not perfect, and the coordination of hands, eyes and brain is not very harmonious, the images drawn are usually unreasonable, but this is the loveliness of children's paintings, and its charm is beyond the reach of adults. For children, art is a game. Only when children get happy and pleasant experiences from it can art truly become children's needs and be accepted by children. Compared with adult painting, children's painting can't be compared in form and technique, but its childlike innocence and childlike interest are incomparable to adult painting. This childlike innocence and childlike interest often give people a stronger vision. Therefore, teachers should cherish and cherish their characteristics, instead of always making a fuss about "shape" and evaluating "image" and "beauty". We should follow the law of their age development, step by step, and be good at understanding and respecting their psychological characteristics. As long as they are happy and engaged in the process of painting, teachers should not be too picky. Only when children give full play to their imagination and dare to think and draw can they draw real children's paintings. But how should we teachers cultivate children's painting ability in painting activities?

First, cultivate the autonomy of children's painting

(A) to stimulate children's interest in painting.

Children have potential interest in painting activities, which requires teachers to induce, guide, cultivate and protect them, and stimulate children's initiative in painting activities. For example, in the painting activity "A Pot of Flowers", we collect all kinds of flowers with the children and put them in the activity room, so that the children can arrange flowers by themselves, so that they can have a perceptual understanding of all kinds of flowers, and then let them draw a pot of flowers they like in the painting class, which further stimulates the children's desire to participate in painting activities through their own hands.

(2) Let children draw independently.

Emotion and emotion are the driving factors of children's painting. Only driven by emotion and wisdom can children's desire for painting be stimulated. Games are children's favorite activities. The children in our class like to play hand shadow games. Children create birds, peacocks, chickens and so on with their hands. They are full of imagination and enthusiasm. To this end, I organized a "print pictures" activity for children. First, let children enjoy all kinds of hand-shaped paintings, let them play finger games: "change one" to guide children to explore. In the game, the children are very happy and have a particularly rich imagination. These practices have changed the methods of teachers' demonstration and children's imitation in the past, and adopted the methods of inspiration, discussion and exploration, so that children can use their unique painting methods and show their painting ability freely.

Second, cultivate children's observation.

(1) In children's painting activities, interest is the motive force of observation in choosing things that children are interested in.

When teachers organize painting activities, if they choose the themes that children are interested in, the activities will be half successful, because the painting themes that children are interested in can not only stimulate children's creative enthusiasm, make children actively participate in the activities, but also fully display their imagination and creativity. Let painting activities become the best form for children to express, express and show themselves.

(2) In children's painting activities, we should consider the actual situation of each child.

Some children lack patience, observe roughly, and draw monotonous and lifeless things. Teachers should give more guidance and avoid criticism. Some children's observation is complete, subtle and vivid. Teachers should give them different guidance, so that their observation and painting ability can be further developed on the original basis.

Third, cultivate children's imagination in painting activities.

(1) Create a relaxed painting atmosphere and stimulate children's imagination.

A happy and relaxed mood is conducive to giving full play to the initiative and creativity of children's painting and improving their learning potential. Moreover, the activity atmosphere with painting atmosphere is the first step to cultivate children's imagination. Because of children's feelings of beauty, their interest in new things is often based on very direct visual senses. For example, in the art activities of "all kinds of fish", when I teach my children to draw fish, I put pictures of all kinds of fish on the wall in advance, raise all kinds of fish in the natural corner, and decorate the toy corner into a fish world for children to enjoy at any time and stimulate their infinite imagination. The children are in high spirits and want to draw their ideas on paper. With such an atmosphere, children can not only observe and appreciate beauty anytime and anywhere, but also express and create beauty at will, thus inducing children's imagination and innovation.

(2) Accumulate rich life experience and stimulate children's imagination.

Imagination of things that are not perceived can be generated in the human brain, but it cannot be generated out of thin air. It must extract relevant content from a large number of images of perceived things, and can only be formed through special ways of thinking such as gluing and exaggeration. Based on this, I pay attention to let children see more, listen more and practice more in teaching, let them get in touch with the colorful world as much as possible, let them know everything around them with multiple senses, get a profound and meticulous life experience, and guide them to deepen their impression with strokes. For example, before drawing "Beautiful Mother", I prepared pictures of mothers with different dresses and hairstyles for children to communicate with, and then asked them to introduce their mothers. Children prepare for painting through perception and free communication. After painting, I also introduced my works with great interest. The children's curiosity and desire for expression have been greatly satisfied.

(3) Make a reasonable evaluation of the works to protect children's imagination.

Comments are a bridge between teachers and children, which can play the role of induction, analysis and improvement. It is not only an important link in painting activities, but also an important means to improve children's aesthetic ability. Therefore, to evaluate children's works, we should look at them from the perspective of understanding children's childlike innocence, instead of using "like" and "unlike", "good" and "bad" as the criteria for evaluating children's works. More importantly, let children examine each other, communicate and express their opinions and say, "What are you drawing? Why do you paint like this? What do you think of your painting? " ..... Through observation and comparison, find out the strengths and weaknesses of others, which can be used for reference and improved in future paintings. When children make a little progress, we give affirmation and encouragement in time, so that they can experience the happiness of success, thus doubling their confidence and stimulating their imagination and enthusiasm for innovation.

Fourth, cultivate children's self-confidence.

In painting activities, it is not difficult to find that some children always cover the drawing paper with their hands when painting. They don't want their peers to see their paintings, let alone their teachers. Some don't draw anything, just scribble on paper; And some paintings are serious, even good. Then why did they cover the painting with their hands? As teachers, we can't simply use criticism to interfere with children, but we should carefully realize that this is a sign that children are not confident. For children who have no self-confidence to show their works, teachers should praise their works in front of the group, so that their self-confidence can be gradually established. What I want to emphasize here is that praise is not grandiose. For young children, as long as there is progress, it is worthy of praise.

V. Respect children's creativity

Art itself is a creative activity. Art without creativity can only be a fake. There is no denying that many teachers like to use standardized requirements to measure children's homework at work. Children's creative process and works are important ways for them to express their knowledge and feelings, and children should be supported to express their individuality and creativity. Only in this way can teachers cultivate and develop children's thinking, and teacher education is meaningful. For example, when a child paints all the clouds black, don't think he is making trouble. He may tell you seriously that it is a dark cloud on a rainy day. When a child paints everything green, don't criticize him for not using color. He may tell you that spring is coming, and there is a green world everywhere ... Teachers should be good at understanding children's activity intentions and thoughts and feelings expressed in their works through observation and dialogue, and understanding and discovering children's unique creativity and personalized expression methods and forms. Especially when children's works are "out of line", we should try to understand their intentions from the perspective of children. If the teacher can feel the child's creation carefully, you will have unexpected gains. Early childhood is an important stage of painting ability training, so it is necessary to improve children's various painting abilities in the process of painting activities. Let's give every child the opportunity and strength to fully express, let them spread their imagination wings in the open space of painting, and hope that painting activities will become the golden key for every child to open their wisdom!
