Bioengineering Experimental Center was established in 1984, which is a professional experimental base of our hospital. The center has the following laboratories: microbiology laboratory, biochemistry laboratory, chemical engineering principle laboratory, computer laboratory, instrument analysis laboratory and bioengineering laboratory.

The experimental center undertakes practical teaching tasks for undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in bioengineering, pharmaceutical engineering, food science and engineering, and is an important base for undergraduates to carry out graduation thesis and scientific research for faculty. The existing fixed assets1000000 yuan, 9 full-time laboratory personnel, covering an area of 3505 square meters, with an average instrument and equipment value of 9643.56 yuan. It has a large number of modern experimental teaching instruments and equipment such as AKTA biomacromolecule separation system (PRIME PLUS), medium pressure preparative chromatography system (natural product purification system) (alkaline pH/C). BECKMAN's desktop high-speed freezing centrifuge (ALLEGRA 64R), Eppendorf's freezing centrifuge (58 10R), BUCH's rotary evaporator (R-2 10), BIO RAD's gel imaging system, TECAN's fluorescence/chemiluminescence analyzer.

Microbiological Lab

Microbiology laboratory is one of the professional basic laboratories under the Bioengineering Experimental Center of our school. After continuous equipment supplement, update and improvement in recent years, the laboratory has fixed equipment with a total value of more than 800,000 yuan, and the experimental site covers an area of about 240m2, including a sterile studio.

The main equipment of the laboratory includes: clean workbench, constant temperature shaker, refrigerated shaker, automatic desktop sterilizer, six portable sterilizers, biochemical incubator, constant temperature incubator, refrigerator (one is artificial intelligence type), vacuum drying oven, constant temperature drying oven, CO2 cell incubator, polarizing microscope and inverted microscope, 32 electric light source binoculars, 2 Olympus binoculars and 65438+ monocular.

The main task of our laboratory is to carry out practical teaching of microbiology and related courses, including microbiology, food microbiology, food hygiene, microbial progress, microbial genetics and breeding, etc. , and provide practical teaching tasks of these microbiology and related courses for undergraduates and graduate students according to the provisions of the syllabus. Practice teaching and theoretical teaching are closely coordinated, giving full play to students' subjective initiative, paying attention to the cultivation and training of students' practical ability and rigorous scientific spirit, so that students can better master the methods and skills of microbial experiments. At the same time, the laboratory also accepts the graduation thesis work of undergraduate and graduate students and the scientific research work of teachers.

Chemical engineering principle laboratory

Chemical engineering principle laboratory was established in 1986, and was re-improved in 2002. At present, the experimental field covers an area of about 130, and it is an important subject base for bioengineering, food science engineering, pharmaceutical engineering and related majors.

The main laboratory equipments are Bernoulli tester, packed tower gas absorption tester, Reynolds tester, pipeline liquid resistance tester, centrifugal pump tester, casing heat exchanger-gas-liquid heat exchanger tester, casing heat exchanger-liquid-liquid heat exchanger tester, solid liquefaction tester, packed tower intermittent distillation tester, fluidized bed solid drying tester, insulated pipe heat transfer tester, packed tower continuous distillation tester, gas-solid catalytic kinetics tester of internal circulation reactor, Most of the important unit operations required by the internal circulation reactor gas residence time analyzer, reciprocating vibrating screen tower liquid-liquid extraction tester and drying chemical principle course can be set up. The demonstration practice and teaching method of related principles adopt classroom teaching, students can study and practice independently, and pay attention to students' ability training and practical ability, which is conducive to cultivating the basic skills of chemical engineering principles for undergraduates and graduate students.

The laboratory is managed in an open way. After registering with the laboratory administrator, students can complete corresponding internships or carry out research on thesis topics in the laboratory.
