Professor Deng Jianming is mainly engaged in the research on the interaction between plants and the theory of plant metabolic ecology. The response mechanism of allometric growth index and metabolic rate allometric index of individuals in forests, desert shrub communities and herbaceous crops to environmental changes and competition intensity was studied systematically and deeply.
