Master of Engineering Management (MEM) is a newly established professional degree on 20 10. Its purpose is to meet the urgent demand for engineering management talents in the development of modern engineering in China, improve the training system of engineering management talents, innovate the training mode of engineering management talents and improve the quality of engineering management talents in China. The training of master of engineering management focuses on providing students with the ability to understand the knowledge in the core management field.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is usually regarded as a stepping stone to the management level of the business community. MBA is to train practical, compound and applied senior management talents who can meet the needs of high-level management in industrial and commercial enterprises and economic management departments.

Different learning priorities

Special emphasis is placed on cultivating students' practical skills through business case analysis, practical observation, analysis and decision-making skills training on the basis of mastering modern management theories and methods, so that students can accept challenges in knowledge and skills, personality and psychology, goals and aspirations, and have more professional competitiveness. Other graduate students focus on theoretical study and academic research.

Compared with MBA training, the training of Master of Engineering Management (MEM) provides another alternative path for talents with undergraduate level or equivalent education to grow into excellent large-scale project managers (see the figure below). The MBA of seven educational analysis is mainly to cultivate management skills in finance and market. Compared with the training of engineering management, it pays more attention to technical expertise, social experience, project management and design/development, and at the same time, it moderately supplements the knowledge of finance and market and increases international exchange experience. The master of engineering management provides a favorable development path for the future growth of the majority of engineering and technical backbone personnel and project managers.

The application conditions are the same.

For the application conditions, the requirements of both are the same. Here are some for you:

1, the age is not more than 40 years old (from birth to September of the school year 1, the age of graduate students who apply for entrusted training and pay their own expenses can be relaxed appropriately, and some schools do not restrict it).

2. Those who have three or more years' work experience after graduation from university, five or more years' work experience after graduation from junior college and two or more years' work experience after graduation from graduate school can apply. (From September of the year of graduation to the year of postgraduate admission 1, those who do not have a college degree and are over 30 years old can apply for the exam through academic certification).
