The leader of obstetrics and gynecology in the Women and Children Medical Center affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University, the deputy director of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association's Ovarian Cancer Committee of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the deputy director of the Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association's Gynecological Oncology Committee, and the former director of the Gynecological Oncology Department of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital affiliated to Fudan University.
Professor Yao Liangqing is especially good at minimally invasive surgery, chemotherapy, targeted and comprehensive treatment of gynecological malignant tumors such as ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, vulvar cancer and vaginal cancer. The team he led is one of the few teams in China that can independently perform MDT resection of systemic metastases such as liver, intestine and neck. The satisfaction rate of tumor reduction surgery for advanced or recurrent ovarian cancer is close to 90%, which is in the forefront of the world. Professor Yao Liangqing focuses on the implementation of difficult cervical cancer surgery, including pelvic cleaning and LEER surgery, which fills the gap in saving and treating patients with advanced recurrent tumors in China. In addition, the Guangzhou team of women, children and women led by him has successively carried out a series of new technologies such as sentinel lymph node imaging of endometrial cancer, resection of complex retroperitoneal masses, intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy, interventional embolization of hepatic artery, tumor immunity and targeted therapy.
In recent five years, Professor Yao Liangqing has presided over more than one SCIentIFic research project 10, and published 29 sci papers in international academic journals (if total score 134). He was invited to attend more than ten high-level academic conferences at home and abroad and gave speeches, and was highly praised by Christina Fotopoulou, Professor of Imperial College London, London, UK, and Elena Raterd, Director of Gynecological Oncology, Yale University, USA.
