Huanglian shengmu thesis
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, due to the incompetence of the rulers, China's national strength declined, and the imperialist powers set off a frenzy to carve up China. Many foreigners used their privileges to oppress the working people on the land of China, and finally a vigorous Boxer Movement broke out in northern China. Because the slogan put forward by the Boxer Movement was "Help the Qing Dynasty to destroy the foreign countries", it only destroyed the foreign countries and did not oppose the Qing Dynasty, so it won the support of the high-level officials of the Qing Dynasty headed by Cixi for a period of time. With the rise of the Boxer Rebellion, a mysterious women's organization was quietly born, namely the Red Lantern. The founder of this organization is Lin Hale. There are three different versions about Lin Heier's life experience. The first one is that Lin Heier was born in an ordinary fisherman's family in Tianjin. She studied sticks with her father since childhood and once went to Shanghai to perform. At that time, imperialism was rampant in China, and her husband Li You was arrested and beaten for offending foreigners, and finally died miserably. Lin Heier revenged her husband, secretly formed an association, and founded the "Red Lantern" to cooperate with the Boxer Rebellion against foreigners. The second way of saying it is: Lin Heier is a local prostitute in Tianjin. Because she is unwilling to be reduced to the fate of * * *, she calls on her sisters to unite against the Qing Dynasty and imperialism. The third argument is: Lin Heier is the boatman's woman. Because she lived in poverty and had no place to stand, she founded the "Red Lantern" after her husband died. But no matter what kind of statement, the reason why Lin Heier took the road of resistance was because of the misfortune of being the bottom people. Why did Lin Heier create an organization composed entirely of women alone, instead of directly joining the Boxer Rebellion? Mainly because her application for joining the League was rejected. During the peasant uprising in China, few women joined, let alone developed independent organizations. In the eyes of many men at that time, women could accomplish nothing, so they were rarely allowed to join. And Lin Heier was rejected by the Boxer Rebellion for this reason. Lin Heier, who was rejected, had a lot of backbone, so she casually founded an all-female group named "Red Lampshade" or "Red Lantern". She calls herself "Notre Dame of Coptis chinensis", "Elder Sister" and "Second Fairy", claiming that she will have superb martial arts. As long as her sisters join in, they can learn in a short time. Because the members of the organization are all wearing red clothes and trousers, holding a red light in their right hand and a red fan in their left hand, they named the organization "Red Lantern" according to this feature. This organization, like the Boxer Rebellion, uses superstitious ideas to attract its members. Even boxers have to pay attention to them when their strength grows. Finally, when Zhang Decheng, one of the leaders of the Boxer Rebellion, set up a general altar in Jinghai, Tianjin, Lin Heier also responded. When Eight-Nation Alliance invaded Tianjin, Lin Heier also led the Red Lantern members to actively crack down on foreigners, engaged in intelligence gathering, medical rescue and other work. However, due to the compromise between the Qing Dynasty and foreigners, Zhang Decheng was injured and Lin Heier was killed after being injured and captured. Because foreigners have heard too many legends about Lin Heier, it is said that they made specimens of Lin Heier and shipped them to Europe for exhibition. However, whether this rumor is true remains to be verified. After all, Lin Heier's corpse specimen has not been found in any museum.
