A medal of war injury
The War Wound Medal established by Nazi Germany was established in 1, 65438, September, 939. Its figure is a bronze helmet with a swastika embedded in it. The helmet is lined with crossed swords, and the frame is like a leaf ring. Initially, this medal was awarded to soldiers or civil servants who were disabled by official duties or actions; later, civilians were also awarded this medal. The design of the war injury badge is basically the same as that issued in World War I, except that the bronze helmet in the badge was changed from the M 16 bronze helmet representing World War I to the M35 bronze helmet representing World War II. War wound badges are divided into three grades: black, silver and gold. The black war injury badge will be awarded to the above-mentioned personnel who have been injured once or twice on duty: if they are injured twice in the future, or if they are injured on duty, they will be awarded the silver war injury badge. Those who have been injured more than five times, or who have died in the line of duty or caused serious disability, will be awarded a gold medal for war injuries. Certificates of honor are also awarded together with medals. There is also a special war wound badge called "Verwundeten-Abzeichen 20". Juli 1944 ",which was specially made by Hitler for the assassination of 1944 on July 20th. Because it is not a combat badge, it is not discussed here.
