(1) After adjustment, the valve clearance changes (the locking is not firm, the valve stem and the driving part are worn), and the valve is improperly adjusted;
(2) The valve adjusting screw is worn, the locking nut is loose, and the valve clearance is too large or inconsistent;
(3) valve spring retainer wear, valve stem and guide tube wear too much.
Treatment: Re-adjust the valve clearance. If the lock nut on the adjusting screw is loose, lock it and replace the worn parts.
2. There is valve leakage sound outside the valve chamber, especially at high load and low speed, and the noise increases with the increase of load. The main reason is that when the valve seat is hinged, due to improper operation or excessive wear of the inner hole of the valve guide, the valve seat is skewed or the valve clearance is small, resulting in valve ablation and valve leakage due to lax closing.
Treatment: Remove the cylinder head, grind the valve, check the elasticity of the valve spring, and readjust the valve clearance.
3. The valve spring is damaged and should be replaced.
4. The valve seat ring falls off, the surface of the valve seat ring is rough, the machining accuracy is unqualified, the valve seat ring is loose due to improper interference, improper material selection, excessive deformation after heating, or the valve seat assembly process does not meet the requirements.
Treatment: Re-insert the valve seat according to the assembly process requirements. The upper end face is flush with the body plane, and the higher part should be leveled.
Tips: you don't need a valve cover to start a car, because the intake manifold pressure is different, and the idle speed will be very high and low.
