Appreciation of Nu Wa's Fairy Tales of Making Man
Nu Wa made man

Each of us was born by a mother, but do you know how the earliest humans appeared? It is said that they were made of clay by a fairy named Nu Wa, so there is a saying in this world that "life originated from clay".

After Pangu opened the world, there were sun, moon and stars in the sky, a wide variety of plants on the ground, and birds, animals, insects and fish. However, human beings have not yet been born.

At that time, there was a magical goddess named Nu Wa, who could change seventy times a day. One day, Nu Wa was walking on the ground and suddenly felt very lonely. She felt that something was missing between heaven and earth, and she couldn't tell what was missing. She walked between heaven and earth, a little tired, and rested by a pool. The clear pool water saw her face and figure clearly. She smiled, and the shadow by the pool smiled back at her; She frowned, and the shadow in the pool frowned at her. She woke up suddenly. Isn't there a creature like her missing between heaven and earth? Then why not create a creature like you?

So, she grabbed a lump of yellow mud from the pool and held it in her hand, which soon became a little thing like a doll. She put this little thing on the ground. A miracle happened. As soon as this mashed little guy touched the ground, he immediately came to life, and when he opened his mouth, he shouted "Mom", followed by a burst of jumping and cheering. Looking at this smart and beautiful little thing created by myself, Nu Wa couldn't help beaming when she heard him call "Mom" sweetly. She named her lovely little thing "Man".

Although the human body is small, it is said that because it was created by God, it looks and behaves a bit like God, which is different from birds and animals. People seem to have a more extraordinary spirit of managing the universe.

Nu Wa is very satisfied with her work. So, she continued to make many lovely talking and walking little people with yellow mud. She was busy until the sunset filled the sky and the stars and the moon shone on the earth. Late at night, she only leaned her head against the cliff and slept for a short time. The next day, at dawn, she got up quickly and went on working.

She wants to make the earth full of lovely people, but it is too slow to knead clay figurines by herself. She has to find ways to improve efficiency. After thinking for a long time, she finally came up with a good idea. She tore off a dead vine from the cliff and plunged into a mire, muddling the muddy yellow mud and throwing it on the ground. Where the mud splashed, there were many little people screaming and jumping, just like the little people made of yellow mud before. It's really much easier to work like this. With the wave of a cane, many living humans appeared, and the population on the earth increased dramatically.

Although there are people on the earth, Nu Wa hasn't stopped her work because people are dying. Why do you want to create another batch when one batch is dead? Keep doing this. When will it end? No, we must find a way to make human beings reproduce. Later, she finally came up with a good idea. She divided those little people into men and women, let men and women combine, let them create their own offspring and shoulder the responsibility of raising children.

In this way, the seeds of mankind will continue from generation to generation, and more and more every day.
