The review time is generally about one month. At present, the peer review of general journals is mostly three reviews and three schools, which has a certain workflow and stages, and goes through three stages: peer review, external review and audit.

Audit time and process

1, first trial

The preliminary examination shall be completed within 15 days after receiving the manuscript. Article detection plagiarism rate (generally conducted in China HowNet) is the scope of preliminary examination. Generally, core journals require a high level, and the repetition rate within 10% can pass the preliminary examination.

Step 2 review

Namely expert review. Papers that pass the preliminary examination will be sent to relevant experts in the evaluation expert database for evaluation in time, with the emphasis on academic level. When reviewers suggest "publishing after revision" and have important revision opinions, they should reject the manuscript and re-examine it if necessary. Review time is two months.

3. Edit the final review

The editor-in-chief (or executive deputy editor-in-chief) will conduct a preliminary review on the basis of the preliminary review and the second review, and put forward a draft list for the final meeting of the Standing Committee of the Editorial Board.

4. Finalization

The review time of core journals is much longer than that of general journals, and most of the review time is 1-3 months. However, due to the difficulty in controlling the external evaluation time of experts, it sometimes takes more than three months to complete the evaluation process.
