Under the new situation of profound changes in China's economic system, social structure, interest pattern and ideological concepts, under the complicated background of various ideological and cultural interweaving and the outbreak of the international financial crisis, the construction of contemporary youth socialist core values has been impacted and influenced by the increasing socio-economic strength, the increasingly diverse social culture and the increasingly diverse values. They are in the critical and special period of the formation of life values, and urgently need to distinguish the mainstream and tributary of values, and urgently need value guidance and guidance, which provides the best opportunity for the integration of socialist core values into the construction of youth values. Therefore, the social environment faced by contemporary youth needs to be guided by socialist core values to shape their values, so that they can establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values and grow into high-quality talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty.

The author believes that we can practice the socialist core values from the following aspects.

First, seriously study the guiding ideology of Marxism and deeply understand its connotation and spiritual essence. The guiding ideology of Marxism is the soul of the socialist core value system, the fundamental guiding ideology for building the party and the country, and the banner of socialist ideology. Only by using Marxist standpoint, viewpoint and method to correctly understand the general trend of economic and social development and the mainstream and tributary of social ideology can we see the essence clearly and make clear the direction in the complicated social phenomena. Internalizing the socialist core values into the universal value standard and self-consciousness of youth groups in theory is to guide young people to externalize the internalized values into concrete value behaviors, that is, to guide young people to solidify passive and temporary externalization behaviors into continuous and stable conscious actions, so as to comprehensively improve their ideological and moral quality.

Second, the national spirit with patriotism as the core and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core inspire fighting spirit, so that young people always maintain a high spirit. Cultivating and carrying forward the national spirit and the spirit of the times is the fundamental requirement for practicing socialist core values. The national spirit with patriotism as the core is the spiritual pillar for our Chinese nation to gain independence and win dignity. We can show our patriotism by respecting the national flag and the national anthem. We can express our patriotism by "learning for the rise of China" like Premier Zhou Enlai. The national spirit with patriotism as the core needs our successors to carry forward. At the same time, teenagers should also actively understand social trends and international news, understand the direction of social development, actively think about innovation, put forward their own views on social phenomena, and put forward their own valuable opinions and suggestions.

Third, the cultivation of socialist core values should be in line with social life and combine "knowledge" with "action". In addition, it is necessary to advocate contemporary youth to experience the pleasure of dedication by serving the society and cultivate their noble character.
