Zunyi Modern Historical Changes Papers
First, in the southwest of China, the influence of toast is very great.

In the ancient history of China, although it was nominally the land of the world, in fact, many areas were out of the control of the emperor. For example, in parts of Sichuan and the nobility, there are already many ethnic minorities living in the southwest of China. These ethnic minorities have their own management mode, which is the chieftain management system. Tusi is basically equivalent to the supreme leader of a tribe and has the highest leadership over a tribe. The decrees of the imperial court can't be enforced at all, and the toast has always been obedient to the imperial court. Because the main energy of the imperial court was to resist the nomadic regime in the north, it was helpless to the chiefs in the southwest.

During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the central government adopted a system of imprisonment and basically did not interfere in the internal affairs of the Southwest Tusi. From the end of the Tang Dynasty, the Yang family began to control Bozhou area. Bozhou is now Zunyi and other places, belonging to the border area of Sichuan and Guizhou. The geological structure of this area is very complicated, and the ethnic groups live together, so it is very difficult to manage. Therefore, after the Tang Dynasty, the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, the Song Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty and other dynasties, the Yang family has been enduring and controlled Bozhou area.

Second, relying on its strong strength, the Qing Dynasty carried out the policy of "returning the soil to the stream".

In order to disintegrate Bozhou Group, the Ming Dynasty divided Bozhou into Zunyi House and Heping Yuefu House. Zunyi area belongs to Sichuan province and Pingyue area belongs to Guizhou province. After the Qing dynasty entered the customs, it inherited the obvious provincial model in inland areas. A series of problems faced by the former dynasties were also faced by the emperors of the Qing Dynasty. During the reign of Kangxi, it experienced a series of challenges, such as pacifying the San Francisco Rebellion, annihilating Zheng Group, and containing northwest Junggar.

Emperor Kangxi basically swept away all external threats in the Qing Dynasty. After Yong Zhengdi came to power, he began to deal with various problems within the country with peace of mind. These include the implementation of the policy of improving soil and returning to the southwest. The chieftain in the southwest ruled one side, and the Qing Dynasty had long wanted to govern these chieftains. Relying on its own powerful strength, the Qing Dynasty began to implement the policy of "improving soil and returning to streams", mainly targeting at the chieftains in Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou. In order to better implement this policy, Yong Zhengdi appointed his favorite E Ertai as the governor of Yunnan and Guizhou, that is, the head of Yunnan and Guizhou provinces.

Third, Zunyi has become a city second only to Guiyang.

In A.D. 1727, in the fifth year of Yongzheng, Zunyi Prefecture was incorporated into Guizhou Province. Subsequently, Yongning County of Guizhou Province was included in Sichuan Province. The border between Guizhou and Sichuan provinces was basically established and has been in use ever since. After Zunyi was included in Guizhou Province, it directly strengthened the economic strength of northern Guizhou. Zunyi government records said:? In the fifth year of Yongzheng, I was cut into Beifan, Guizhou, and I became strong at the beginning, with a territory of two thousand miles, and the land tax was half that of Guizhou. ? Guizhou tongzhi also records:? Today, it was cut into Guizhou, but the situation of the northern princes began to be strong. Its territory connects Guiyang in the south, Sinan in the east, Dading in the west and Chongqing in the north. ?

In modern history, Zunyi became a civilized red city in China because of the Zunyi Conference on the way of the Red Army's Long March. In fact, from the perspective of economic strength, the situation in Guizhou and Sichuan provinces is completely different. Among all prefecture-level cities in Sichuan Province, Chengdu is the only one that occupies a dominant position and can even compete with big cities in the southeast. But the level of other cities is not very brilliant. Among the prefecture-level cities under the jurisdiction of Guizhou Province, Guiyang's economy is obviously inferior to Chengdu's, but Zunyi has surpassed Mianyang, the second place in Sichuan.
