The Lama Temple in Beijing was built during the reign of Kangxi in the early Qing Dynasty. Originally the palace of Yong Zhengdi, it was changed to the Lama Temple after Yongzheng acceded to the throne. There are five halls in the temple, which are arranged in turn from front to back, and the order is Tianwang Hall, Sanfo Hall, Yongqun Hall, Falun Hall and Giant Buddha Building. In the Falun Hall, there is a 6-meter-high bronze statue of Zong Kaba, the founder of Lamaism. It was Guanyin in the Northern Song Dynasty, second only to the Great Compassion Pavilion in Zhengding longxing temple, Hebei Province. The Great Buddha Pagoda is a three-story building, specially built for the Maitreya Buddha statue carved by white pine, with a height of18m. It is said that this statue is carved from the trunk of a whole white pine tree. The original wood was transported from Sichuan to Beijing, which can be said to be one of the giant wood carvings in China. As far as its modeling is concerned, the three buddhas carved in the Three Buddhas Hall still retain some styles of the Ming Dynasty, especially the decoration of Shen Guang, which is neat and meticulous, and seems to go further than similar productions in the Ming Dynasty. In addition, the 500 Luohan statues (wood carvings) in the Luohan Hall of Biyun Temple are closer to the secular world than those in the Ming Dynasty, but their expressions are delicate and weak, as if they are only technically meticulous and lack artistic appeal.
According to records, the Luohan Hall in Biyun Temple was built in the 13th year of Qing Qianlong (1748), and the statues should be made at the same time. In addition, there are clay sculptures of 500 arhats in Zhu Qian Temple Xishan Huating Temple in the suburb of Kunming, Yunnan and Baoguang Temple in Xinjin, Sichuan. The former was written in the 11th year of Guangxu (1885). Judging from the achievements of these three arhats, it seems that the arhats in Zhu Qian Temple are richer in life and closer to reality. Of course, this is directly related to the artistic accomplishment and technical level of the sculptor.
After graduation design is completed, we need to summarize the process of doing graduation design. How should I sum it up? The following is what I arranged
