Research direction in recent years
Microbial gene expression regulation, microbial molecular biology, genetic engineering, pathway engineering. In recent years, around the academic direction of access engineering, the main research contents focus on the exploration of the basic principles of access engineering, the development of related strategies and technologies, and the development of small molecular bioactive substances with great economic and social benefits, which are finally applied to medicine, light industry, food, textiles, environmental protection, energy and other related fields. He is especially good at studying the biosynthetic pathway of small molecular biological substances such as antibiotics, and occupies a leading position in the improvement and construction of genetically engineered bacteria for these substances in China.
