In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, the functional model of our government has changed a lot, and the way the government manages the economy is changing to macro-control. In particular, the abolition of the "dual-track system" of prices has provided important conditions for reducing and eliminating corruption such as "official defection" and "rent-seeking". However, on the whole, with the development of social economy, there are still many shortcomings in China's administrative management system. Due to the lagging transformation of government functions, excessive or improper government intervention in the market not only restricts the deepening of economic reform and affects the construction of democratic politics, but also becomes the institutional reason for rampant corruption. The rent-seeking theory in western economics deeply analyzes the internal relationship between government intervention function and corruption.
