We came to the gate of the subway station, which was already crowded with people. We went down the stairs to the ticket office, pressed the station name on the screen of the ticket vending machine, and then put the change into the slot of the ticket vending machine. There was a bang, and three green plastic pieces like one-dollar coins fell off the machine. This is our subway ticket.
We swiped our tickets on the automatic card reader and entered the platform. After waiting for about five minutes, the sound of "whoops-"sounded in my ear, and the subway finally came! Only two golden beams were seen directly on the track, and a long "dragon" flew from a distance. It has many automatic doors and large transparent windows on both sides. We walked into the subway train in an orderly way and found it clean, spacious and bright. We took a seat. I kept looking around and saw that every car was connected, and the head and tail could be connected. There is a row of upright handrails in the middle of the carriage, just like a sentry standing guard. The subway has started, traveling at a high speed. Looking out of the window, I saw that it was dark and I couldn't see the scenery outside. People sat in the carriage smoothly, without traffic jams and red lights, and soon arrived at their destination.
With the subway, I can get in and out more conveniently and quickly.
