What social workers need is not to evaluate others, but to bring themselves into their own situations to experience their own thoughts and experiences. Everyone in this world longs for happiness. Let me share with you the clients who are involved in social phobia in social work. Welcome to read and browse.

I. Background of the case

(1) Basic information

Client Xiaowan (pseudonym), female, aged 27, is a local resident of Yantian. Junior high school education, single-parent family, including mother and twin sister.

(2) background information of the case

These customers are often laughed at at at school because of their short hair? Ugly? 、? Men and women? . Because the family is twins, my sister gets good grades with long hair, while the client gets poor grades with boys, and often hangs out with those children with poor grades. Therefore, at home, customers are often compared to their sisters. Therefore, in high school, customers are eager to be understood and respected. The client said that at that time, she began to get in touch with bad friends, and they had channels and sources to get the goods, so she was exposed to drugs. Moreover, more than once, the parties mixed several kinds of medicines together and immediately fainted, foaming at the mouth and were sent to the hospital for gastric lavage.

Because of the experience of being bullied, the hostility of the client is very strong, and she feels that others are targeting her. When someone walks up to her and looks at her, she feels that she is despising her. She will fight back the contempt of others, she will stop them and say loudly, do you have a problem with me? Let's have a fight! ? After graduating from high school, the client's mother gave her a job in the village parking lot. She worked there for a year and was fired. Since then, the client has never looked for a job. During that time, the parties often shut themselves in the house, didn't go out and didn't talk to anyone. So when the staff first contacted the customer, she said that she had social phobia.

In fact, the family conditions of the parties are still good. Even if she doesn't work, she can get dividends every month, but the dividends are in her mother's hands. Moreover, her mother thinks that she is too old to stay at home all the time, so she often urges her to find a job. However, after leaving the society for so long, the parties can't be well integrated into a team. If no one talks to her or shows enthusiasm when she first joins the company, she will feel that everyone doesn't like her. Anyway, they won't like me, so I'd better leave ... In this way, the shortest day and the longest week of a client's work basically ended in resignation.

Second, theoretical support and demand analysis

(A) Maslow's demand theory

Maslow's theory divides needs into five categories: physiological needs, security needs, love and belonging, respect and self-realization, which are arranged from low level to high level.

Emotional needs include two aspects: first, the need for friendship, that is, everyone needs a harmonious relationship between partners and colleagues or maintains friendship and loyalty; Hope to love others, but also eager to accept others' love. The second is the need for a sense of belonging, that is, everyone has a sense of belonging to the group and wants to be a member of the group and care for each other. Emotional needs are related to a person's physical characteristics, experience, education and religious beliefs.

The need for respect means that everyone wants to have a stable social status, and requires that individual abilities and achievements be recognized by society. The need for respect can be divided into internal respect and external respect. Inner respect means that a person wants to be competent, confident and independent in all situations. Inner respect is self-esteem. External respect means that a person wants to have status, prestige, respect, trust and high praise from others. Maslow believes that the need to respect can make people full of confidence in themselves, full of enthusiasm for society, and realize the usefulness and value of living.

The need for self-realization is the highest-level need, which refers to the need to realize one's ideals and ambitions, maximize one's ability, and accomplish everything commensurate with one's ability. In other words, people must do competent work in order to feel the greatest happiness. Maslow pointed out that the ways to meet the needs of self-realization vary from person to person. The need for self-realization is to strive to realize one's potential and make oneself more and more the person one expects.

Social support network

As a theoretical paradigm, social support comes from? Social causes? At first, it was associated with an individual's physical, psychological and social adaptability. It is also based on this that some scholars' research limits it to? Social psychological health? Field. However, as far as the existing research is concerned, the use of social support at home and abroad has gone beyond the original explanation, and it has been expanded to refer to the sum of social behaviors that the disadvantaged groups provide spiritual and material resources to help them get rid of their survival and development difficulties. At present, the parties lack understanding and support in spirit, and because they have no friends, they feel inferior and are afraid of being questioned, denied and rejected. What kind of resources do I need to provide her to improve and get rid of the existing unfavorable situation? Customers need my family communication support, friend support and other support.

(C) Advantage perspective theory

The dominant perspective transcends the traditional theoretical paradigm of problem perspective and focuses on the advantages and potential of the case owner. It emphasizes that attention should be focused on how the owners live, how to look at their world and how to find meaning from their experiences.

The problem of serving clients from the perspective of advantages is that, as a social worker, she should make every effort to discover, develop and utilize the advantages and resources of clients and help her achieve the goal of real detoxification.

problem analysis

According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, employees analyzed the actual situation of customers and thought that the existing problems of customers mainly included the following aspects:

1. The client lacks spiritual understanding and support, and the experience of being bullied and denied leads to inferiority, hostility and social fear.

2. Because the customer once had a criminal record of drug abuse, and little red dot's ID card has been in an alarm state, the customer is afraid to live in the dormitory when looking for a job, and he is very worried that the criminal record will be discovered.

3. The parties don't have any friends, their sense of belonging is not satisfied, and they are afraid of being questioned, denied and rejected because of inferiority, so they can't integrate into a new group well.

4. Customers are confused and like too many things, but they don't have a clear goal or a career plan, so they often work and find that they don't like it and are not suitable for this job, and then they will give up their jobs.

Third, the service plan

(A) service objectives

1. Help customers find suitable jobs within one year.

2. Give customers spiritual support, encouragement and positive attention.

Intervention strategy

1. Obtain personal and family information of customers through home visits, telephone interviews and browsing the records of the last staff member;

2. Actively establish business relations with them, provide them with spiritual support and gain the trust of customers.

3. Eliminate clients through empathy, listening and encouragement? Mark? Consciousness, help the parties face up to their past and present, and regain their confidence in life.

4. Provide customers with basic employment guidance, and let them think about what kind of job they want and what expectations they have for their future life.

Fourth, the intervention process.

(1) the first stage

Focus of intervention: referral and interview, and establish a professional relationship of mutual trust with customers.

Content: At this stage, it is mainly to understand customers in many ways, actively establish professional relationships with customers and gain their trust. Let the client know that she has been introduced to the staff. Through the efforts of the staff, she was able to meet the client and made great progress in establishing professional relations.

According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, employees should respect customers at this stage. Through chatting with clients, we can understand their distress at this stage and their feelings of not being understood and supported, and give them corresponding respect and support. Respect customers' ideals and choices, establish emotional support, and establish a good relationship of mutual trust between customers and employees. Moreover, this practice has been very successful, and customers often take the initiative to chat with staff, express their thoughts, and expect to be understood and supported.

According to the theory of social support, our social workers provide spiritual understanding and support for the clients and help them to improve and get rid of the existing unfavorable situation.

Guided by the advantage perspective, the client's problem is that I should make every effort to discover, develop and use the client's advantages and resources to help her achieve the real goal of detoxification.

(2) the second stage

Focus of intervention: give spiritual encouragement and support to the parties and help them get out of the shadow of the past.

Content: Through the contact and conversation with the client, we can understand the client's previous work experience and life experience, and understand the client's psychological state and thoughts at this stage. Because the client mentioned many times that she would be afraid of her, because she used to be an addict, the staff repeatedly said that in their own eyes, she and I are the same, and there is no difference, and encouraged her to get rid of her own? Label? Let the parties know that no matter what mistakes are made, it will be sunny if they are corrected.

According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, employees have further established valuable professional relationships on the basis of establishing good mutual trust with customers. The staff not only provide emotional support such as respect to the client, but also encourage the client to become our volunteer, actively strive for the client to come to the social work office for an interview, so that the client can bring the anti-drug project team into her circle of friends and get her friendship and sense of belonging in the new circle of friends. It can also help customers to further deepen their understanding of employees' work content, so that they can better understand the nature of employees' work and help employees establish further valuable professional relationships with them. Moreover, in the past, the reason why clients were involved in drugs was mostly because of psychological emptiness and bad friends. In this way, the staff tries to make customers feel a sense of belonging in the new circle, and get encouragement and support from them, which is helpful for customers to get rid of the shadow of the past and reintegrate into society. Through the efforts of the staff, customers have been able to participate in the staff's activities as volunteers, and told the staff that they have also consulted the staff's work content online, hoping to deepen mutual understanding. Customers are no longer excluded from the staff office, because they used to be afraid of strangers. Now they can accept not only employees, but also their colleagues.

(3) the third stage

Focus of intervention: provide employment guidance for customers, help customers clear their minds and plan for the future.

Content: Staff provide employment support for clients, help clients choose the most desirable thing among many things they want to do, consider how to do it well, how long it will take, and plan these things. And through community recruitment, network and other means, link employment resources for clients, and clients can choose independently.

Because customers often mention to the staff that they have not found a like-minded team and a job that suits them. According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, employees strive to make customers feel a sense of accomplishment in their own work and realize their self-worth. Employees first respect and support customers' choices, help them choose their favorite jobs, and encourage customers to build up their confidence on the basis of self-thinking. After that, the staff suggested that customers can make study plans in their spare time. For example, if you want to be a cake apprentice, you can make plans and buy some study materials, videos or books on weekends, so that you can learn independently and make faster and better progress. After that, the staff encourages the customers, and there will always be difficulties in their work. They should also have the courage to overcome these difficulties, and they will have a great sense of accomplishment after walking this section of the road. Customers are very grateful to the staff for their help and will often chat with the staff for advice.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) evaluation

This paper focuses on the evaluation of results and customer satisfaction. Through the joint efforts of customers and staff, customers found a stable job, passed the training, successfully took up their posts, and basically achieved their goals. Customers express their gratitude to employees for their care, understanding and support. After the intervention of the staff, the clients have received spiritual support. From being afraid of meeting people to being able to participate in activities as volunteers, the psychological level has undergone tremendous changes. Moreover, today's clients will not take care of their health as before and often go out to exercise. In interviews with staff and customers, customers have repeatedly expressed their gratitude to the staff for their support. If the employee satisfaction is graded, she gets five points.

Closing the case with intransitive verbs

(1) Reasons for closing the case

The customer's problems have been basically solved, and employees have helped customers basically achieve the goals set in the service plan and promoted the obvious improvement of customers. After consultation with the parties, the staff finally decided to close the case.

(two) handling methods and suggestions.

Inform the parties in advance that the case is about to be accepted; Inform customers that they will pay a return visit in two months and will still provide follow-up services; The staff advised customers to face the past with a smile, greet the future with a better attitude and find their own direction in their work.

Seven. reflect

In this case, due to the lack of spiritual care and comfort and knowledge of drugs when he was young, the parties embarked on the road of drug abuse after making bad friends, trying to find relief from drugs and fill their inner emptiness. The client once told the staff that many drug addicts she met were like this. Most of them feel empty, helpless and lack of spiritual support, and turn to drugs to stimulate their senses. In her description, the staff seemed to see the state of another life circle, emptiness, helplessness and indulgence, and the sadness hidden in the subconscious became their reasons for taking drugs and their excuses for indulging themselves. However, after the staff gave spiritual support to the parties and saw the changes of the parties themselves, the staff themselves felt a sense of accomplishment. In fact, our job is to help customers in trouble. We are using our positive energy and various social resources to help customers change themselves and become better and better. Moreover, the staff realized from the consciousness level that in order to make the parties change, they should deeply realize that drug abuse can not fill their emptiness, but can only fall into a pit and cannot extricate themselves. They need to be brave enough to bear and face the difficulties in life, be their own masters, have a sunny heart and fearless sadness.

Eight, social work service experience

What we social workers need is not to judge others, but to bring ourselves into their situation to experience their thoughts and experiences. Everyone in this world longs for happiness.
