Although it has not yet reached the level of fully automatic driving, in the future, fully automatic driving is not far away from us after the continuous upgrading of technology. So many people have imagined what self-driving cars will look like in the future. For example, in a master's thesis written by a student, he described his imaginary self-driving Land Rover, which he thought would be realized in 2027.

This future Land Rover Range Rover has a sci-fi look. At first glance, it is a concept car, but in many design elements, it still retains the style of Land Rover itself, such as the heavy front and so on. The appearance of the car is covered with a lot of large-size glass, which has a certain sense of science and technology. There is a closed air intake grille in front of the car, with two LED strip on both sides and a LED strip running through the glass, which should have the function of a headlight.

Many sensors are designed inside the front of the car, which is also the basis for realizing automatic driving. This car also uses the design of gull-wing doors on both sides. Although the upper part is made of glass, it can also be opened upwards, with a strong sense of design and convenient access. At the same time, it is equipped with large-size wheels and hidden charging ports, and the whole body looks very sci-fi.

The design of the rear is similar to that of the front. Behind it is a large thick fender, very close to the front grille, and behind it is a penetrating taillight. Moreover, two trunks are designed at the rear of the car. When getting on and off, the space of the two trunks can add up to about 600L L, and a large number of sensors are also designed at the rear, as well as the letter logo of Land Rover brand, which reflects its identity.

The concept Land Rover Range Rover created by this author is about 4948mm long, 202 1mm wide and 3536mm wheelbase. In terms of size, the internal space should be very loose. Because of automatic driving, there is no need to consider the design of the cockpit. There are four relatively independent seats inside, the central armrest is designed with a control panel, which can be used to control the shape of the car, and there is a 32-inch large screen for entertainment experience.

When designing this concept car, the author designed two batteries, both of which have a capacity of 75kwh. These two batteries are installed in the front and rear of the vehicle to provide power for the four wheels respectively, which can provide about 240kw of power. Although this concept car is impossible to realize, at least at present, with the advancement of technology and the popularization of autonomous driving technology, this car is really possible to go on the road.
