Jinggangshan is a place I have been longing for for for a long time in my heart. The revolutionary pioneers of the older generation fought bravely against the Kuomintang reactionaries in order to free the working people from oppression and bullying, turn over as masters of the country as soon as possible and win the revolution. Jinggangshan is the revolutionary base of our party and army. Comrade Mao Zedong and Comrade Zhu De once commanded the army and people to fight against the Kuomintang here, and defeated the invading enemy countless times. The victory in the struggle against the enemy greatly boosted the morale of our army and civilians, enhanced the prestige of the * * * production party, expanded the base area, and laid the foundation for the victory of the revolution.
When you come to Jinggangshan, from a distance, the mountains stretch for hundreds of miles, and the cliffs and gullies are criss-crossing and magnificent. Surrounded by bamboos, ancient trees are towering and endless. It is really a good place to fight guerrilla warfare, rest the army and open up base areas. Arriving at the famous "Huang Yangjie" post, the Red Army officers and men used the terrain to set up five lines of defense, fought bravely against the enemy, and finally defeated three regiments of the Kuomintang regular army, creating a miracle in the history of China War. Standing in the place where the Red Army fought in those days, looking at this position once cast by the blood of martyrs, I can't help but feel passionate, as if I saw the Red Army soldiers fighting bloody battles in the battlefield filled with smoke. There are green bamboos beside the bunkers and trenches, and the branches and leaves rustle in the mountain wind, which seems to tell the story of the heroic killing of the Red Army soldiers.
